Reset by Paul Harris|| Learn one of the BEST CARD TRICKS of all time !!

Hey guys,
Here is one of my most favourite card tricks.Its called reset created by Paul Harris. Its really strong ,its visual, it uses a regular deck, it starts and ends clean and never fails to get a really astonishing reaction and guess what its really easy to do with a little practice.

I never liked the ace flash at 0:40. I didn't understand it in the book, and I don't understand it looking at your hands either. If the four jacks are on the table, then obviously the aces are in your hand. In the AoA I recall him noting that the hands were then in the position to "flash" the aces. Maybe if there were some way to make it look accidental...

Thanks for the comment and good observation.. usually it's covered by "my idea is to switch aces for jack one at a time"...so it's more like a gesture than a flash..

Hm. If it's arbitrary, could make more sense to start with the jacks. That way, you could flash them at the spread with a visible chunk of the ace's right and top edges showing. It could be made not to look fishy, spreading the cards out only to show three out of four when you are supposed to be a magician with skilled hands who can control that sort of thing. No one would notice (or at least it would be _less_ conspicuous if) one card in the back has a little blank space on it where a face card should have ink. They'd just see that there are a bunch of face cards and that they could make out the outline of four cards. It should work, though I'm not sure if it would mean a sacrifice elsewhere.

It's necessary bcoz at the moment no one will question the aces are in your hands but in a moment once the aces start changing to jacks they will start questioning, but then you won't be able show. So it's important to create conviction. But since incidental proofs are better at the moment a flash is the way to go rather than false counts. Probably that's the reason why Paul Harris incorporated it in his handling.

It’s not immediately clear how many cards you steal and where the initial break is. It takes too long to try and work it out. Is a shame as it looks a good trick to learn. Thanks for showing the trick though.
