Thanks for the video. One little thing I learnt the hard way is that if there is a space in your firmware file, for example, if you download a second copy of and OS, it might name it FGT_xxxxx-FORTINET (1).out with that little space in there before the bracket, then the FortiGate won't even initiate the NIC when you try to kick of the TFTP upload.

Hi, thanks for watching my videos, no , because you're license is based on your fortigate serial number and it's not in the configuration, but if you manage firewall by using forticloud you have to signed your firewall to forticloud again.

the firmware completely deleted and you should upload the new firmware to the firewall
