The surge and clicking sound was the sound of the computer reading your key. So you didn't really have to pull out the fuse. Sometimes it'll take a few seconds to a few minutes for the computer to read the key before you have to take any fuses out or disconnect the battery

Somehow this worked for me my car had a a misfire cylinder 4 and open fuel circuit same cylinder tried this and my check engine light went away and no more shaking hopefully it reset everything cause a new ecm computer isn’t cheap 😩😭 thanks for uploading this video helped me a lot

I just purchased an 05 2 days ago & i got the anti theft, tc & engine lights on with no gauges showing but she drives fine. I also notice there is a misfire when I'm in park, but performance wise i can't tell because it does ride good. So hopefully this help me out.

It worked for me on my 2005 Cadillac SRX. Took the fuse out and also put the key in the drivers door and turned it open and closed, just for the hell of it and she fired right up. Thank you

If you want to reset your security system do it the right way don't pull fuses out especially when the key is in the on position you're gonna blow up some module disconnect the battery While you have the battery disconnected turn your lights to the on position leave it that way for a few minutes it will discharge any other power stored in your relays cause you want to discharge all the access power you're lights will not come on but it will discharge the power that is stored wait 10 minutes even 15 then start your car backup go online look up drive cycle for the mirror make a model Follow the procedure you will do a drive cycle and a reset at the same time hope this helps you

@@markhernandez4684 so crazy, when we were under the hood looking for the battery (the one that is located in the trunk)... We loosened the fuse box. 500 and something dollars later and two tows, this was discovered. Oops!

@@missincredible6087 hey. Sometimes If you want to start The car you need to open The door, your key need to be inside on position 2. Then take off The "-" ground from The battery and connect again.. Untill you hear The sound from The car Computer under the Hood. Try untill you can start The car. The fauklt is with some wires probbably and you need to leave your car to The Electric man.

I am sooo hopeful that this works. A couple weeks ago my horn started going off at all hours. The dash stated “break in attempted.” There are numerous other issues, but the vehicle only has 85,000 miles in it as of March 2022. If it isn’t this, it is likely the body control module. Battery drain on the cts can normally be fixed by disconnecting the 2 wire harnesses going to your onstar module. Its located in the trunk, right side behind the carpet wall. That should fix your battery drain

Sometimes on my cts the steering wheel is locked to the right just turn wheel to left and key will work. What is happening is it locks up the key why I don't know.

2007 Cadillac STS- keyless start. Fob only. I need help please! Shift to park error although I'm in park. Disconnected the battery to prevent it from draining it like it did my last one. When I go to start after connecting the battery I'm getting the anti-theft message and starter disabled. I did have someone mess with it and I believe after several minutes and possibly putting it in neutral it started. Although, it was then drive able it was still giving me the shift to park message upon parking so once again I had to disconnect my battery. I know pretty much nothing about cars but I cannot afford to take it to a mechanic for them to guess and replace numerous parts. I just need to get it driveable and then I'm selling it. It's been one thing after another.

Cadillac ECMs are all junk. change them in many different cars. injector driver and spark driver go out of the ECM all the time.

Change the crank position sensor cable near the oil filter area underneath your car. Gonna need a star nut socket E8. If the sensor is bad and old from any car wash engine bay or just oil build up it will throw the ECM off. This is the fix for all GM no start problem crank problem to the ECM Engine control module computer components no connection code. Your welcome.
