💈 Reset, Relax & Refresh With A Wet Shave at Jermyn Street Barber Shop | Singapore

On my recent round the world travels, I was lucky to be pampered at one of Singapore's chicest barbershops to offer a Traditional Straight Razor Shave - Jermyn Street Barber Shop in Singapore.
The barbershop is set in a classic restored shop house in the popular Chinatown neighborhood. The style and service draws from traditional men’s grooming in London.
The interior is a calming, light, and airy environment with comfortable seating and plants to enjoy your coffee while waiting for your service ☕️🪴
I received a Traditional Wet Shave with a cleansing exfoliation and toning of the skin by General Manager and Head Barber, Adonis Bibaoui.
Adonis grew up in Athens where he started to study and work at his father's salon. After moving to London, he studied at Vidal Sassoon Academy and along the way discovered a true passion for men’s barbering. After working a few years in London, he then made the move to Singapore to join the team ‪@jermynstreetsingapore6979‬
The relationships he builds with clients is what he loves the most about barbering. Relaxing on the beach with a nice iced coffee is his favorite activity when not working so be sure to ask him for great beach spots next time you visit Singapore and Jermyn Street Barber Shop.

This barber is an artist! Politeness and professionalism are expected, but he's also meticulous, intuitive, and thoughtful. Adonis is a physically fit man who obviously takes care of his health and appearance. Even his fingernails are immaculate. It's the contrast of this powerful man being so gentle and attentive that ultimately makes this grooming experience superlative.

For a guy, getting a straight shave from an experienced, competent barber like this gentleman is nothing short of amazing and heavenly. Sooo comfortable, relaxing, and soothing. I've had few great ones but I've also had some bad ones where I had to reshave my entire face because the barber left my face with visible patches and a lot of bleeding from all the cuts. I watch these and then remember how “barbaric” I am because I often shave with JUST WATER AND A RAZOR!! I learned how to shave with a razor in basic training when I joined the military and when I went to school for my MOS/AFSC I would often be rushing and only have time to wet the razor with cold water!! I would LOVE to experience a shave like this, but being a fully disabled combat veteran I do NOT have the financial resources to do so. In fact I will soon be losing my home to foreclosure!! Thank you Harry for giving me 30 mins to pretend I am someone else!!

I have super thick facial hair so none of these barbers would ever do it for me, they would struggle! But it's easy enough to teach yourself how to shave properly, just takes some time and attention with a doubleedge :) If you are watching these vids and you haven't upgraded yet, you are really missing out, plus the blades are so cheap it almost feels like stealing.
