Just love your thinking, Jenn. Oops, I thought cowboy boots were more masculine than feminine 😂 shows you how little I know. Thank you as always ❤

Last year I curated a perfect style and the whole wardrobe for myself after studying multiple style therories to the core. Then I decided to stop buying pieces completely! (Well, underwear and hosiery being an exeption) I truly believe it is possible. And if not, I can always ask a piece for a present of might get something donated, I’m sure 😅 Anyway, the most important thing is that my style is 99% secondhand, has been for years, but now that I really know my style identity, every piece I have is great for me and makes me both look and feel good! What I am also very particular about is the quality and materials of the pieces. Almost the only pieces that are NOT made of natural materials are a few sports pieces and a faux furcoat 🎉

And let me add that this style quest and completing it also cured my chronic insecurity about my looks and femininity that several times in my life had lead me to depression. I got cured mostly Thanks to style theories and actually using them to create myself again 🐦🔥🔥✨

My style objective for 2025 is to learn to use accessories to make existing outfits feel fresh and less boring. This winter, I’m wearing a beautiful pair of brown leather gloves with matching tortus shell sunnies and I feel so put together! ❤

My focus is taking care of my items better, polishing and cleaning shoes and bags, cleaning jewelry, mending and tailoring some items to get more wear. Having a wish list and sticking to it, whether I'm buying second hand or in store. Focusing on updating accessories like a new to me purse, a belt, a pair of shoes and a everyday earring to add the extra polish I'm looking for.

Go to the thrift store once a month. No online shopping except for additional items that I already love like socks and underwear. Alter and repair the stuff I already love

Reduce/eliminate impulse shopping for jeans and footwear. I don’t need more. Mindful second hand shopping - is it on my wishlist, is it a 100% Yes, Is it a unique ‘find’ that’s My Style/Personality? Okay to work on filling gaps: My style LBD with sleeves, dressy top with sleeves, statement/special sweater for 3/4 of year (I’m cold from October to June in Seattle.)

Deine Ziele gefallen mir! Vielen Dank!

I agree! For me having more things in the closet just ends up creating more decision fatigue 😋
