Reset TC Helicon Voicelive 3 Extreme to Factory Settings

Had an Issue The Following Subsytem(s) Failed: serial Midi, EEprom one or maor area are not Accessible etc. Try rebooting, update firmware or restore from that option all failed. Searched the Intenet to no Avail, thought I was resetting but actually it wasn't. Came accross this Video, followed the instructions, was able to reset to factory then update to latest Firmware. Sincerily thank you for this Video, Voicelive 3 Extreme is back :)

Thanks for mentioning this! I used to love my Voicelive 3 extreme, but it was so unreliable I had to give up on it. Does this trick help with the boot up problem where all you get is a blank screen?

Hey thank you! So if you’re doing a factory reset, you will get back all the installed Presets, if you need just blank presets you have to connect it to your Pc and open Voicesupport2 and than erase all Presets.

fully agreed on the unreliability! the blank screen is relating to a hardware issue around the SD card inside that is not well attached. Not sure reset to factory settings will solve this

Hello, I have tc-helicon voicelive 3 extreme. stuck on update and screen shows: wait, update system. On the other hand, when you click on headphones and turn on, it shows: system maintenance, but it does not give the options to update or other menus. it keeps showing system maintenance What solution is there?

hi,just got one of these and as soon as i turned it on it went into maintenance mode.turn on off .it wont save my persets.i didnt the factory restore and i made a perset next time i turned it on perset not saved.

If you change a preset for example song1, push the Store button 2x times and you’ll save the setting on the preset. Otherwise if you turn it off without pushing the store button 2 times, your setting will be lost.
