Holy crap it's impressive how vocals hits those notes, those aren't easy ones, and they come out buttery smooth and consistent. Incredible vocal work. Of course everyone else was on their AAA game clearly, such a fantastic performance from everyone, and incredible mixing as well. But what I love most is seeing all of your faces, it's so clear how much you love what's going on, I think the world needs more of that kind of positive passion now. Bringing more focus to Reset is great, especially because the song was missing in a good number of the future re-releases for Okami, it's such a treasure to hear over the credits. So thanks for the attention to what is honestly a beautiful song from a beautiful game. Also the translation was very cool, it's hard to translate songs, it's impossible to keep every thing and still make a consistent song, but so much was still caught. Seriously, fantastic work all around. Much to be proud of here! Thanks for making the world a more bearable place to live!

I just stumbled upon this video... Wow! That's absolutely amazing! I usually don't like English covers but I was pleasantly surprised... That was incredible, the vocals and instrumentals nailed it! Man, the more and more I listen to the different renditions of this song the more I realize that this is more a theme meant for issun more than anyone else in okami. No one else in the game has a greater change than him. Plus the fact that the thank you version kicks in when he truly shows his change of heart really cements that fact for me. I've definitely heard this before...were you guys at Youmacon in 2018? I'd recognize those lyrics anywhere! This is definitely one my favorite Reset covers! Okami is one of favorite games so I love how this got covered! I wish more people knew or at least talked about the song...as hard as that is with this song only officially being in the ps2 version internationally.

The arrangement and performance are excellent, but I feel more could've been done for the lyrics. Granted, translating from japanese is not easy, but one can still recognize that the original had two different choruses that then come together for the end, not only one that repeats itself in the end. SuriOokami's translation of the song comes to mind, which not only translates the two choruses separatedly, but also has a few verses that rhyme with each other: " Millions of flower petals *fall,* Scattering and coloring the town, However this time is at its end, As the wind, had foretold it to us *all.* [...] We made a promise on that sunny *day,* so I made sure that it won't be lost, by tracing my fingers on the beams of the sunlight that chased the dark *away.* " Additionally, the original lyrics has one last line that is missing that says _"Kanashimi o_ RISETTO _shite"._ "Risetto" = "Reset", the name of the song. Removing that line from the arrangement feels like an odd-choice.
