The idea of a railgun is to use magnets rather than chemicals, so its understandable for it to have next to no recoil, now for actually being able to lift that monstrosity of a weapon. Spooky lady man.

I think that was their intention, remember, the suit that he had was to stop the mutation and to control him better, the first phase was the optimal one, they didn't need that much space to transport him, he could use many accessories to complete his mission, etc; his second phase is what he would look from the start if he wasn't in his suit, a savage beast, incapable of using weapons, but a weapon in itself, and finally the last one, in which his DNA was mixtured with that acid and everything that was in that area, he is now a slug, slow and huge, an easy target for everyone with a gun.

Cuz the second form looks more like a mutant chicken with some xenomorph mixed with it and the 3rd form looks like a dumber version of ramon salazar from RE4. The 3rd form would look better If it was a mutated human and not a beef jerky with moving meat shields

Yep. I don't mind all his transformations, i feel however that when he emerged from the water that his transformation shouldn't have been too extreme. He should had had the form from the original clock tower sequence, where he resembled a tyrant but with fucked up tentacles instead of claws. That would had been so awesome, and it is a shame that they did not utilize that form here. Other than that, I did have a blast playing this game and will be replaying it.

I'm sorry but they ruined nemesis. What made him scary in the OG was the way he chased you, the music, the panic. In this he only appears with a cut scene first. It takes you out of the immersion. This game looks great, but nemesis is the weakest part, and that's a shame man.

A lot of people say that Nemesis is a downgrade from Mr. X in the remakes, and he kind of is...but it's ironic, in a way. As far as I've seen it, that sadistic streak of Nemesis's (later replaced with straight-up feral mania when he transforms) is probably the only reason this game is beatable - if he was as serious about his job as Mr. X or even Classic!Nemesis, I think Jill would've been dead in the first cutscene. And let's be honest; if Nemesis was as persistent or recurring as Mr. X was in the last game, players everywhere would probably be dead of hypertension. I mean, Mr. X was hard enough to work around already; imagine him with higher speed, tentacles, and frickin' MILITARY-GRADE WEAPONRY!?
