Fun fact: at 19:58 When Barry says "What the hell is this place anyway?!" That is the voice actor actually asking the people in the recording room what that place is. They just kept it in the game. Notice how it doesn't fit well with what he said before.

Apparently Barry is using some sort of weaker ammo, I think it’s called dummy rounds or something. You can tell by the colour of the flash when Barry shoots his gun.

37 years old and this still gives me goosebumps. Never forget the first time I played this, I LITERALLY ran out the house when the first dog jumped through the window Edit: and to think I had this game memorized to get that rocket launcher in under 2 hours

I didn’t know who Lucio Fulci was when I played this all those years back...but watching this now, i get the feeling a lot of the musics in this were inspired by his movies and perhaps other similar movies of that time period when dario argento and lucio fulci were making all of their gore and zombie films. especially the musics in that area between the 13 and 18 minute marks. I get a Suspiria vibe from it too.

I love this game. The first RE I played as a 12 year old, I got so scared I returned it to blockbuster after playing it for like 10 minutes. A kid in my homeroom class recommended it to me so I rented it. It scared the crap out of me, then I told him and he laughed at me so I forced myself to rent it again and beat it so I can brag to him lol. My love affair with this franchise started right then. I've played it hundreds of times since. The HD version of the RE1 remake will always be my favorite Resident Evil game but the classics are still great. RE1/RE2/RE3/RE:CV are what I define as the "classic" RE titles. WHOAAAAAAAAAAA... This hall is dangerous!

Hold UP. With Jill you really had to go out of your way to get Barry killed. That wasn't easy. I do remember that there was a way to only deal with Tyrant once but it's been a while. Chris' was more challenging because of Rebecca. She could die real easy if your timing was off. And Chris' was just extra. Jill had Barry, a Grenade Launcher, lockpicks, piano lessons. That used to trip me out. I got all of the endings but damn.
