Ok so SPOILER ALERT After the 2nd encounter with the big cheese(when Ada saves you) you leave the house and you hear a dog crying Leon saves him from the bear trap just like the original. They actually did keep the dog but you save him later instead of at the very beginning.

@@Tekkenandgaming My bad im not the best at explaining things, but as great and imo perfect the original is, the remake improved on a lot of things from what i've seen of it a big one being we get much more of Luis and Krauser plus the game looks much more horrifying and leans into being a horror game which granted the original was still horror it wasn't really scary aside from the regenerators which are probably the main thing i've seen that hasn't changed much since they were already terrifying. I do want to get the remake myself eventually because it does look interesting imo but i get why you think the way you do man

the dialogs are way worse in this remake,the cinematics are bad too,clearly this remake was made by a team who knew how to replicate,people say this remake has more horror while leon blocks a fucking chainsaw with a knife. the game mostly is resident evil 6 but better made. realtime item management would have improved the gameplay a lot.
