What I mostly loved about the Remake was the development of some characters like Luis and Ashley. Luis actually helps you (not only in the cabin) which makes his death at the end extra sad and as for Ashley she seems more mature which makes it less stressful (for me) to help her when she gets grabbed. I do miss some of the goofy lines from the OG but again that’s a minor thing

The character expansion that was given to them was wonderful. There is some campy behavior in game but more of the title flashes these characters out much more than the original. That's what was missing

It's always been the voice acting that either into a game or not, RE games have always been in that sort of vein for me... even with a Gameshark ... MGS1 just broke the mold

I honestly love both versions just the same. This is probably the best remake I’ve ever played. One of my absolute favorite changes has been Ashley. She’s so longer annoying and is actually useful and grateful, and she’s caring and doesn’t get kidnapped as many times lol. Her sweet and realistic personality makes me actually feel motivated to protect her

Yo estoy jugando la segunda vuelta para conseguir los 2 millones de pesetas y comprar el lanzacohetes infinito. Los estoy jugando con el REframework con DLSS y el cambio es brutal en cuanto a calidad. Es una pena que Capcom no lo haya implementado. Por cierto, yo también soy fan del raytracing, pero si te lees el video de digital foundry, está muy mal implementado. Prefiero jugar con las texturas al máximo que un raytracing mal hecho. Además, solo afecta a los reflejos, así que tampoco se pierde tanto.

La verdad que lo prefiero con DLSS, y también se que el Ray tracing nunca era implementado bien en RE juegos, pero ay moments cuando se ve incredible con los reflejas de luces. Gracias por ver el video chamaco.

@@Kelphelp the side quests are repetitive and not fun at all in the remake and I never had to rearrange my inventory because treasures are separate. And combining items isn’t as satisfying

I can understand a bit of the aide quests but at the same time they aren't tedious enough to warrant repetitiveness because they are just a small but supplemental addition. Also treasures were always separate on the original and tbh the new gem system adds a very nice layer of customization. Due to in game pressure on whether to sell or not it can add a small layer whether to wait and hold or use whatever gems and spend.
