This seems impossible. No hacks no glitches no nothing just timing his strikes right and knowing where he’s going to swing and his patterns and still not taking any damage with no bonus weapons or KILLER7 spamming. How tf does anyone do this

I was stuck at n this part on professional. My first time after seeing this, I got about 75% of the tricks he used. If someone plays this part repeatedly, I think they can do it.

Lots of practice, and some luck. I opt to just Quake him at the start of the last phase and skip the fight, because why bother, im always swimming in cash by this point anyway.

@jesseroberts1041 Your frustration is understandable. However, I wouldn't let this single encounter ruin your experience with a game I consider a masterpiece. There's going to come a point and time where on your next playthrough that you'll have the resources to annihilate this guy, and once you reach that moment, it's incredibly satisfying:)

@@fdakis I beat it twice before on pro mode. For whatever reason on my 3rd time around, even after 10-11+ attempts of continuing (normally after every fail I’d outright reload the save, to keep the difficulty up) but even after 10-11+ attempts, with a fully upgraded knife, it’s STILL breaking before he goes down, and I’m emptying mag after mag of ammo into him. -_- idek how I got past him twice the other times. But crapcom did such a shit job on this fight. And this fight isn’t even fun to me anymore, they ruined it even worse than the original

@@fdakis also I’m glad you can enjoy it again. I just want more additions to the game. Jill can dodge roll whenever, but Leon can’t? The specially trained/knife combat specialist? And then the hit boxes again. Like when I’d see Leon visibly crouch his legs but I’d STILL get my head grabbed by his attack. And then his charge attack that had a dedicated dodge command in the original, OMG GOTTA STAND IN PLACE NOW AND USE A PERFECTLY TIMED PARRY! LIKE THAT MAKES SENSE! Yeah stand head on against a charge FROM SOMEONE WHO LEVELS THE ENTIRE GROUND AROUND YOU BEFORE THEYRE EVEN F***ING TRANSFORMED. 👍 Bravf***oh crapcom for that brilliant inconsistency in Krausers strength. Or I love when we’re even slightly too close to Krauser, which we need to be for the knife to be used, if he lands beside us, Leon’s stagger animation taking SO long to recover from that Krauser can just turn and be armed against us. And then Leon having to fully retract his knife for a solid second or two before he can dodge, when milliseconds matter. -_- like the games melee system is not half as good as Crapcom seems to think it is. And I’m also just purely annoyed by their DRM stuff too. This company can rot again tbh. Sorry for the long rant though, but if you’re able to enjoy the game, I’m honestly jealous. I did love the remake, but now I’m just done with it. At least I got 100 hours out of it and like 4-5 playthroughs.

@jesseroberts1041 This isn't unsolicited advice, but for me, it just came down to having the resources. It's a very long and tedious fight, so you really have to be patient. Question: Are you trying to finish the game with an S+ ranking on professional? If so, I totally understand your frustration. Perhaps using the single use rocket launcher can spare you the final phase of the fight. It's what I eventually did.

I used the Riot Gun fully upgraded to beat him. 20.2 Damage and all shell pellets hitting him really puts him down. He didn't even jump to the rocks for a second time. I dodged all his attacks and just punched him with the Riot Gun.

So I'm currently trying to do this out of necessity as I'm running a frugalist and am down to 1 HP and don't want to restart the chapter to attempt to no hit, although ng+ so rocket launcher but nonetheless this is one of the most infuriating things I've tried to do. Some extra things I've picked up: After the first gate you open, when you drop down throw a grenade around the corner as soon as you touch and he won't run out to rush you at all. Right before the crossbow section, as you come out of the hallway with the turret and bear trap, if you shoot the ceiling (this requires infinite rockets) you can actually trigger the traps/explosives In the crossbow area before going upstairs, same thing if you shoot a rocket through the next gate, making it possible to run straight to the left when he tries to flank you from above. I still have not finished this fight but maybe this will help someone.
