i feel u when it comes to like, auto scroller games basically vs games that actually feel like games. for example, i LOVE silent hill, BUT when i say that, im talking about the first experience and the story. theres love put into the symbolism and story and what not, but i find it very hard to replay. at most i prefer to maybe watch entertaining letsplayers who can fill the time with funny convo n what not to ""replay"" the series thru my pov. even huge silent hill fans will tell you that fighting is janky and not worth it. youre better off just running past everything. but then that boils the game down to... running and cutscenes. meanwhile, ive played games like RE4, L4D, TBOI, nuclear throne, sly cooper, etc. like thousands of times probably. games where ur mainly in control and have a bunch of movement controls to work with also cos ik u brought it up eventually saying L4D is unfair to mention- i never play multi ever (would like to, but i hate the community and all my friends are busy when im not lol), and its still v fun even with constant single. esp expert mode. the only thing thats not fun is the fact all the bots like to lose all their health on expert single any time theres a tank.
