The funniest thing against excella is you can actually KILL her with Rocket Launcher when her core exposed, this will skip all 3 battles instantly without using annoying satelite lasers and waiting core exposed again. RE logic at its finest, kill/defeat all bosses instantly with Rocket Launcher no matter how many HP they have, it still counted as 1 HIT KILL. This was proven by restarting them 10 times with rocket launcher as primary weapon with my starter Beretta pistol max upgraded on Any levels including Pro Level even a joke in this stage

Keep in mind that the "Rocket Launcher" in RE1 that insta-gibs the Tyrant is a M202 Flash, which is essentially just a flame round from the grenade launcher. The M202 was developed as a replacement to the shoulder mounted flamethrower, it's not a primarily a concussive force like an RPG is.

For the hardest difficulties here's the strats: Stick to one side at the bottom. Give Sheva rifle and machine gun. You take the laser targeter. Pop its orange bulb. After each shot put it down and clean up the projectiles. You don't need to get all of them but if you get most Sheva will then focus on the bulbs thus slowing them down. By the time you clean up the projectiles pick up the laser again. It will be nearly recharged. I have Chris carry a shotgun, pistol and grenade launcher. The grenade launcher is used only when the boss produces 4 orange bulbs and rises up into the sky for that one hit kill attack. A single grenade launcher shot stops the attack Pay attention to the dodge. For some reason the QTEs are more forgiving during this boss and the wind up animation is VERY noticeable. Don't give Sheva the laser. She is not efficient at aiming it. She also becomes useless for the projectiles. Also don't go to the top deck. Far less space.

There aren't really actions that he "wouldn't" do - he has no moral qualms about anything that he has to do for his mission. One of the best coop games ive played. I like this version of re. It's action packed and you can feel your weapons dealing damage to enemies espcially with critical hit. Re2 and re3 feels like shooting against a cotton ball they just dont have that power and damge effect. I prefer the mechanics of this game than re2 and re3 remakes like weapon upgrades, melee combat and allows you to hit legs much easier and disable them followed with melee finisher.

The original games had a lot of power, or at least the necessary power that it feels like should be in each weapon. The remakes(Except 1) feel like crap and might as well all just be the same weapon with different hitpoints, it's not even "realistic" if a shotgun should feel as weak as a handgun bullet, or even the magnums don't sound powerful at all. Don't get me started on each zombie feeling like a bullet sponge, it irritated me that everything is so watered down. I'll give Capcom the graphic quality and detail, but besides that, I'd go play the originals anyday over the current remakes.

​@@wildman7220 Cell mitosis requires nutrients. If you wanna become a giant tentacle monster, you'd need millions of calories or smth. Plus the monster would have to keep consuming enough nutrients to sustain the energy expendature that would come with that kind of mass.

I love Resident evil games but they really need to get a bit more creative with boss battles in general. Majority are the same ‘shoot the glowing orange part’ or ‘shoot the eye’. You pretty much know how to approach any battle. Even if you think to recent games like resi 7 with Evelyn at the end or resi 2 remake a lot of the bosses were the same ‘shoot the glowing part of the body’.
