Sure he gets wrecked. He's been heavily nerfed in order to allow the player to enjoy the fight and think they actually accomplished something by dying fifteen times before learning an A.I. pattern and managing button prompts. If he fought against the player the way he fights in the cutscenes, it would be a very different outcome.

Fun fact, you can actually just piss off Wesker by unloading a ton of fucking rounds into him, naturally its impossible but i've seen people with modded magnums with over 3000 rpm just lay waste into him and he just gets pissed and skips the whole hiding part.

You're supposed to use the magnum to stagger him and then perform a QTE combo on him. He usually quits after about 2-3 QTE combos.

I finished the fight using this method, laying into Wesker with my weapon when he got occasionally distracted by Sheva and those heavy haymakers.

Claire isn't that good as a fighter, she has a good background training thanks to Chris but since she never became an agent, chances are she became rusty working as a rescuer for terra save. She doesn't look that powerful in Revelations 2 afterall. I think Leon is the best fighter and the most skilled character in the RE series, with Jill and Chris being close seconds.

I told him to sell his grenade launcher for the cheapest sniper rifle and we kept accidently killing her. We figured out how to pull it out but after that we quit. Fast forward 5 years and we beat this game on Veteran in half the time. Then again, the first time we played was when we were both pre-teens.

I wonder if they'll remake this one. I can see why they wouldn't want to yet but at the same time I enjoyed this one. It wasn't perfect and had some ridiculous moments but I liked it. It was the last game I remember enjoying playing couch co op.

This Boss Fight is what cemented Wesker as a chill'n Antag of RE5. & this being the 1st of 2 that u do? he makes sure to give u a run for your $ on it. u can easily topple him by using a RPG or shooting at him from behind as he matrix auto dodges ur gunshots if u shoot at him from the front or sides & he warp dash counters u after he's shot at 3 times. reguardless of which u choose? once u topple Wesker, u can obtain the Heart Of Africa that drops below before u face Blonde Jill afterwards (aka Berserk Savage Jill as some ppl now call her as) & this fight is more a rescue then a fight as it requires a 2 stage setup to do, have ur partner either get behind & restrain her while you go after the red device on her chest (which btw can be weakened by shooting it, but DO NOT shoot Jill as she dies instantly if hit) or... using Entice to stunstagger & QTE toss her over to remove it while she's downed. beware however that should Jill recover? that she *will counter* with a QTE move once back on her feet. the fight ends once u pull the device off her. 😐...Closing Notice - Lastly.. if anyone's wondering how Jake came into the story of RE6 following this? u can thank Excella for that.
