The Abert-01 is not just a reference to Albert Wesker, it is his actual handgun he used in both Resident Evil 1 and 5. He lost it in the wreckage of his bomber at the end of RE5 just before crashing in the volcano. Apparently the new Umbrella Co. salvaged the bomber, recupered his gun and modified it to be the anti-bow gun Redfield throw at us at the end of the game. And for Umbrella it is not the same Umbrella as before. The original Umbrella Corps was destroyed in 2003 one year before the events of RE4. This Umbrella Co. first appeared in the online game Umbrella Corps which is set between the events of RE6 and 7. This new Umbrella Co. is rumored to be a task force specialised in the retrieval of important resources from viral outbreaks.

Actually, the Umbrella Corporation which appears at the end is not THE Umbrella Corporation of the beginning of the serie. The pharmaceutical compagny has been shutdown after Racoon City's incident (or a little later, I don't remember exactly). And to prevent others biological crisis, a new PMC has been created by the USA government to manage them. So, the name of this company is "Blue Umbrella Corporation", also just named "Umbrella" (where from the possible confusion). The old Umbrella (with red logo) doesn't exist anymore. For BSAA, it's first a non-governmental organisation, created by some Racoon City's survivors, like Chris Redfield. In this opus, Chris Redfield work with Blue Umbrella as BSAA's consultant. ;-)
