"The game will be most likely the first open world RE game which is absolutely awesome" I want to disagree, this is total opposite. Open world games are cancer to gaming industry for many years now. Many of these games are unpolished, the open world space feels empty and RE should stay as linear story building game rather than some open world nonsense.

open world is past, present, future for video games, it make you can plays the games with more excited and spent more hours, the explorations make it more fun linear story you can plays only once then you kept the games into the pockets the replay value is very less i cant imagine you will plays for second time for god of war, sekiro,bloodborne,the last of us but you will you can still excited to explore open world like rdr2, elden ring, gta, Zelda, the witcher

I believe it can be good if it's done right, and Capcom doesn't exactly make the worst open worlds out there. However, If it was up to Ubisoft the game would 100% turn into a disaster.

It very possible I mean Capcom do be having play testing before announcement and changed in the middle of development. I remember correctly people didn't believe re village rumor around the time when re3r got announced and when people went to play test re village which they thought they gonna play RE3R demo at first and when one of the testers posted it on social media people didn't believe him until dusk golem mention the information which he got it from another person.
