When I first watched this at the theatres, I was just as excited as you gents💖 At the end I told my sister well, “looks like it’s The End of the World!” and she said “huh” I said “think about it, if “Alice” is the only female with “Clones” and they all have #Alice1 powers and blood then the likelihood of a man helping populate the world is slim. Or if the other Alice’s collective conscious abilities make a cure as well as find survivors and wipe out all of the zombies. I’d make more “Alice’s” while cleaning world house and etc.” my sister looked at me and said “WTF…she we quite literally surprised” we talked about it for hours while shopping for DVD’s and books. If you're wondering what happened to the little girl from the previous movie, its never mentioned in the films but the original draft (and novelization) of this movie implies that she was killed by Alice who being controlled by Umbrella at the time Also, there is a mid credit scene in the next movie involving a character you might not recognize from previous films

These movies are just pure, chaotic, messy, campy gay fun and I'll never fully understand the people that hate them. Exctinction is my favorite of them all, probably because I was super into this kind of gritty style back when I first watched it and I was starting to handle horror and gore better (I had pretty bad nightmares as a kid) but it's just so fun, the action is amazing, Alice looks hot af and I wish I were her, I love me some telekinetic powers, Ali Larter being a huge crush of mine as a teen and her Claire being so cool, me lowkey shipping her with Alice... lol just everything about it is so good. Now Afterlife (the 4th film) follows a bit of Extinction's style (you'll notice how these movies kind of work in twos when it comes to their cinematography) and it has some amazingly ridiculous action sequences, one of my top favorite fights of all these movies, some very questionable vfx (thanks, 3D fad) that actually somehow make it even more great imo. but it's not my second favorite of the franchise, that would be the final one, The Final Chapter, I just really loved how it concluded everything and it didn't give a crap about anything like a true Resi film.

@@Huesobigotudo Honestly never minded the camera angles much, I had come to expect things to be ridiculous anyway after 5 films so I just took it as them going even more chaotic with the whole thing because why the hell wouldn't they? I get people going into the first film expecting something more serious (though let's be real to expect that as a fan of the games prior to watching the movies is weird, those games are not serious at all) but after several films you'd think people would just let the movie do its thing and enjoy the mess.

If you ever want to see more of the actor Carlos (Oded Fehr), I particularly like him in Covert Affairs, though you definitely would have to be willing to put up with plenty of propaganda. I do find it funny that they chose an Israeli actor to play a character that is presumably Latino? (I haven't played the games)

Also Claire first appearance here she is just another jill instead of the civilian trained by her brother Chris???
