Based On ResidentEvil.net "Resident Evil Recollections" The real Capcom confirmed Timeline !
The game begins on July 24, 1998 after Alpha team locates Bravo team's helicopter, but there are no signs of survivors; only the corpse of Kevin Dooley, the pilot, is found. While searching the area for further clues, Alpha team is attacked by ferocious dogs, who kill one of the teammembers, Joseph Frost. Alpha's helicopter pilot, Brad Vickers, panics and takes off alone. Pursued by the dogs who killed their colleague, Alpha team is forced to seek refuge within a nearby mansion. It is believed to be abandoned.
This is the PS3 version i will also play the PS4 Version of this game coming january.

I love how this game takes like 3 hours to beat but the first time you play it, you spend dozens of hours just trying to solve puzzles When I first played it in 2003 it took me a week just to realize the sword key was behind the old book

If you go to a dark, desolate place, it is sometimes less scary to be alone. Another person could "jump-scare" at some minor thing, like a spider web, a bat etc. This person' reaction is what's really amplifying the fear at times.

Something I love, and it's a very subtle little detail, is how Rebecca stands her ground against the Tyrant in the final battle. She doesn't buckle and cower like she did against the hunter earlier. I love the subtle implication that Chris's mentoring has paid off and she's gotten stronger and braver over the course of the game.

I sat with my son way back then, he was 6 and I was like 28 playing this in the dark. I was just as scared as he was. Loved this game. Tomb Raider and Resident Evil were game changers and pace setters. Those 2 series set the gaming world up for billions in revenue.

This is from before Chris Redfield started liftin'. He just didn't have the time, until right after the Raccoon City incident, although he wanted to. Going on a tough routine and taking a lot of supplement products, he was able to add incredible mass and strength before his next zombie adventure.

So far I love the crisp sound quality of the enter key, the vibrant yet dark atmosphere, and that the gent playing knows what to do. Back too the amazing sounds what also follows with the sound of a door opening, I imagine a parody of this event. During the door opening and all around blacked out, what about Chris? Especially when running away from the undead, like really I have too wait and then get mauled by flesh and brain hungry huggers?!

The thing that scares me more than the zombies is the Mansion itself. It feels... wrong somehow, like one of those classic cursed mansions. I remember watching my step-dad play this for the first time when I was like eight and we were both weirded out by it's baroque design contrasting with the bloodshed on a wooded backdrop. The OG creators of resident evil were really inspired. The later games had scarier enemies but never really recaptured that feeling that this game gives me.

I kinda liked the novels solution to chris being sperated from the group. Bookwise, all four of them made it in, Chris left to check out gunshots, came across a zombie, fired his own shots, then Jill and Barry went looking for him, leaving Wesker to secure the main hall.

My mistake playing this years ago was trying to shoot every monster and zombie that came at me. It left me with hardly any ammo for the bosses. Love seeing how you ration your ammo here and just run past monsters when you’re able to.
