This is somewhat why I'm not exactly disappointed that silent hill died ten years ago. If it had gone on much further that's probably where it would have ended up too. The only good RE game that has come out since around 2005 imo is re2 remake. The rest sucks. The last one I liked before that was outbreak.

It's crazy, I didn't realize until today that Rebecca's theme from RE1 and the save room music from RE0 are similar. One was likely inspired by the other. This adds some weight to Rebecca's character I think, it makes her seem more real and significant in terms of the Resident Evil timeline/lore.

Close. The save room theme in RE0 is a actually a remix of Rebecca's theme from the Dual Shock version of RE1. Not this version.
