@@rainevergarden When I first finished the game, I did not expect him to die. Ethan was super bland in RE7 but he was like a totally different character in Village. No main recurring resident evil character has ever died. Every main character who died always died in their first game(Steve Burnside, Piers Nivans), every other main recurring character(Jill, Chris, Claire, Leon) has never died. He was such a better character in Village than in RE7 but they killed him just when I started to love him as a main character in the series. Well, at least his soul/consciousness lives on within the powers of the mold that his daughter now possesses. RE Village is a solid game.

@@VectorSan Since Shinji Mikami left, this has just become an underwhelming Silent Hill P.T copy with an even more apathetic Protagonist. Even though someone at Capcom in their infinite wistdom, decided to redact their identity. The game just consists of boss fights and scripted encounters with nothing but a few enemies (plagiarized from other media) leading up to that point in between them. Chris on the other hand, however overrated would've been more badass dealing with this situation with a little less whining, and what the fuck is up with that baby in the basement? Those are one of the reasons why you Carry one ordinance for an emergency to redecorate the room or the outside with the big threat itself. However we can't shoot the thing, because apparently you can't shoot something while helucinating, you only just panic and run off and hide under a bed lol. Really familiar to what would occur in Silent Hill. Then again there are better survival horror games out there that haven't lost their identity...

Have you even played the original resident evil games/ it was always about limited ammo and enemies to avoid and fight with boss fights. You claim RE lost its way but it sounds to me like you only played Re4/re5 the more action based re games of the series. Puzzles and enemies and a environment that's creepy is what makes it awesome. Check the game it's 95% very positive reviews. Sounds like you're opinion is very mute lmao everyone loved it so you're missing out.
