I'm planning to buy one too, this video was very helpful. Is it resolved now?

It’s called Rocksett. It’s a must for direct thread mounting

Are you running the mount that shipped with the can? I’m switching to a jmac 360 muzzle device with the hub threads and just gonna screw the can directly onto that. Supposedly from what I’ve heard from other people is that the hub threads stay tighter for this particular can. I’m hoping it works out.

Yes I'm running the mount that was shipped with it. I think you made the right decision, especially if you have other rifles you want to switch out your can from one to another. The mount that's provided is not an easy transfer from one gun to another. Multiple tools and bench vise is going to help getting that thing off.

I like this vid a lot, keep it up. Looking forward to more Putnik testing. Ps, I just subed!

Thanks for the sub much appreciated. I'm most definitely going to do more content with the Putnik suppressor as soon as she's released from jail. 😂 gun trusts take much longer then filing as an individual.

Are the welds coming apart on yours also???…. Another KZbinr posted a vid where his can shot right off the end of his AK as the welds failed, twice actually….
@NegligentDischarged4 ай бұрын
Nothing to worry about, resilient suppressor addressed the issue with the earlier release models and recalled them. Mine is one of the few that had the welds repaired.

So is that gas leaking from the side? Mine does the same thing. I got one of the newer ones that got rewelded.

In some cases blast media will get in the seal from cerakote. It may take around 300 rounds or so before it seals up. If not contact us and we will get you taken care of.

You will need to torque the mount to 40 foot pounds with a torque wrench. Treat it like a muzzle device.
@NegligentDischarged5 ай бұрын
Did you see me use the big vise grips tighten it down ? It definitely felt like it was more then 40ftlbs. The blood vessel in my forehead popped 😂 jk
@tylerreeves51635 ай бұрын
@@NegligentDischarged get you a good spanner wrench and make sure your muzzle is clean of debris. Likely had carbon buildup on the face of the barrel from firing with a booster previously or from firing with nothing on there. One shot and that carbon breaks and the can comes lose. Got to be metal to metal.
Tightening down the can with a pair of Channellocks...I like it! That's how they probably do it in Russia.

I would glue an adapter into the thing that has notches for the spring detent, with jb weld or something. The original Putnik has that - why in the world did the Americans skip this? It is impossible to mount the suppressor securely without it!
