That's just gorgeous! I'd show it off at a party, or just on the table as a centerpiece. For serving food, I'd cover it carefully with cling wrap or other food safe clear plastic wrap, with as few wrinkles as possible.

This turned out really pretty. Maybe if you fill the center with a cardboard circle then put tape on top of the cardborad to seal the edges you wouldn't be hampered. I was surprised you didn't wait till it was dry to take off the tape. Wouldn't it have worked better if after it was dry you added small amount of resin in the center? Just curious...I love your work. ♡

Hi Suzana, I live in Phoenix, Arizona and it get extremely warm here. Often temperatures can reach 115 to 120 degrees. If I would do a resin pour on an outdoor table, do you think the resin would ever melt off once it is dried. Curious if you know how it wears outdoors. Thank you!
@elviraselischi94106 жыл бұрын
Sally Ragusa Hello Sally! I’m also very curious about Suzana’s answer... After me ..., once dry, the resin doesn’t melt so easy (yes, maybe ... if you put it on the fire - I didn’t try!) ... you should give it a try :) ... Other problem with the resin is how it reacts at the sun ... (even if there are, now, some marks like ArtResin, Mastercast 121...) ... other problem can be the reaction of the wood in time (you should prime even the back side of the table to avoid curving) ... and ... to maintain the beauty of pigments ... you should put another layer of resin once dry :) !!! - that can be also a positive point because in time you can repeat this operation if you have same scratches on the table ... :) ... sorry for my English, i’m not a native :)

Hi Suzana, I've been watching your videos for the past few days. I am just wondering what resin is food safe after it has fully cured, please? I know ArtResin advertised that their resin is food safe when it is fully cured. What other resin brand is also food safe if you don't mind me asking, please? Obviously it will have to be handwashed with soap and warm water only when used for food. I am currently using an Australian brand resin company called Barnes, resin type called Clariti. Have asked whether they are food safe after fully cured but no reply as yet. Thank you for your guidance and advice! :)
@ellenmac54066 жыл бұрын
Jojo's Crafty Love there is no resin that is food safe. Some resin is safe for incidental contact with food, but should not be considered safe for general use.
