I have done resin casting for about a year. My husband has been learning to turn wood. Now he wants me to combine the two, but I don't have a vacuum pot. I understand about micro bubbles, and his wood should be dry. What other problems would we have?

@@judieloux3610 Thank you for commenting.. I hope you enjoyed the video.. I use lots of burl wood which is punky or brittle, so I stabilize the burl to get rid of the air and moisture, so the cast goes well.. if you have resin that doesn’t require a pressure pot. You can just coat the wood in resin to seal in the moisture and air before you cast it. The wood might be dry or close to dry, but the air in the wood will cause bubbles in the resin.. You can just seal it first.. I hope this helps
