Love it. Coasters are a good idea. Maybe cut them to match the hexagon pattern though.

Will try that indeed 😀

Thanks for sharing your experience with us. I'd be interested in seeing how strong this stuff is. Would it make good RC airplane parts? Robot parts? How does its strength/weight compare with wood? Thanks for the fun video.

It's very strong but adds a good amount of weight as well! Still lighter than the same amount for thickness in woven material

Did you use an infusion mesh as well, or just the core as the flow media?

Is the 3D printed core hollow? Or 100% infill? If it is hollow, isn't it dent in the vacuum bag?

Would be sick if you made a piece like this to put on a pc case instead of glass side panels and have rgb LEDs show through

Hi! Easycomposite don't seem to have the glowing pigments anymore. Do you have the specs of it, so I could find an alternative?
@MatthieuLibeert3 жыл бұрын
Hi, easy composites never had them 🙂 just search the web for glow in the dark powder and sure you'll find something that suits you 🙂

Put some black light led strips on the edges and hang it on the wall!

Why is your audio so quiet?

Will investigate so it won't happen to the next video 😉

Coasters are boring. Make some knife scales or a clipboard or a front and back cover for a sketchbook or address book or a ping pong paddle and put some rubber paint on the surface and the handle. You could also use it to make a slingshot by cutting out several layers and laminating them together then sanding and shaping. Or just send me some samples and I will make something for you, I have lots of ideas.

I tried this at home but now my carpet is full with glue :)
