Could you use a consumer-grade vacuum bag (for compacting clothes) with a vacuum cleaner instead of the external 3D-printed mold?

Nice comparison :) Always use gloves when you work thermoset/resin composites. 1. You can get nasty allergies from the resin 2. You compromise the fiber-matrix bonding by touching with grease etc. on your skin 3. Fibers in the skin are itchy for quite a while

Did You try to put something on the puzzle before you apply the first layer of resin so air bubbles wouldn't appear and space between the puzzles itself wouldn't soak up and went black edge? Something like moistresist or spray of polish?

Hi Matthieu...Love your videos. I build prepreg carbon fibre electric guitars. I have seen the latest bicycle moulding technology is EPS moulding. Do you know anything about this technique? Very little info available on how this is done...especially the making of the EPS core. Thanks Roger

Speaking of the braided sleeve method, what's the difference between the mold OD and the carbon tube inner diameter? Is there a certain difference between them? (I'm wanting a carbon ID of 38.5mm, but my mold tube is 38mm)

Hello Matthiew, I would sure like you to explain to me how you did the patch work carbon fiber piece, very nice job. Also towards the end of your video after the final coat in the reflection I can see 1 pin hole you missed, take a look, a lot of the time I inspect with a magnifying glass to double check, I can't have a single imperfection, I do Pebble Beach Concours classic cars most worth around $ 1 million and want 1st prize.

BS. He fired the experienced people that told him his ideas weren't going to work. Simple as. Kinda reminds me of a certain former president that set a record for cabinet member turnover, neither took being told no well.

Hello, I was wondering how you did the curves patch work with your clean edges. I do patch work on jobs only know how to do straight cuts. I've repaired Lamborghini, Ferrari, Maclaren rear defuser which is the large fin piece on the rear lower bottom, the part gets large holes and cracked. Your work is excellent

Now that you found the time to do this video, can you please make another video explaining how to join carbon fiber tubes at right angles, obviously without loosing strength. Yeah, and joins can't be made by simply wrapping corners up, because that will reduce grids to only one size.
