How did you attach the arms of the motorizing kit to the helmet? Since the Walsh3D helmet require heat-set inserts to screw all the arms to the faceplate and the lip, but as resin is heat resistant you cannot put them in as easy as with a normal FDM print.

Is resin safe to wear and also how durable is it for wearing during conventions and events?

Yeah, resin part can be wear just fine once there cured, The durability is decent due to the mix of resins it survived Dragoncin 2022 with no issues besides scratching up the paint a bit.

I love it! I'm just very curious that you may or may not notice while wearing the suit, it scratches where your limbs move. In the bicep and shoulder area, you've created scratches when they scraped against your obliques/chest area. Are you going for pure display or cosplay purposes? If so I would suggest adding foam or felt (or soft material in general) in between the areas where they make contact.

Yes sir, i got all those scratches while wearing the suit in dragoncon last year. this year I'm gonna fix the scratches nad probably put a clear 3m vinyl on the parts that will get hit the most in order to kept it scratch free and wear it to more cons.

Thank you, yeah it motorized I reprinted the helmet since the V5 version si I can install the brass inserts. What I do is just heat them up with a heat hun and it melts the resin away.

How much did this cost in resin to build?

At the time resin was a bit expensive and doing a mix did bump up the price. So probably about 900$ at the time of the build. Now the resins are way cheaper.
