Resistance Retribution Review - An Irresistance-able PSP Classic?

We journey back to the PSP through Playstation Classics on PS Plus with Resistance Retribution. We see if this PSP Classic actually holds in 2024 or if it should have been abandoned seemingly like the rest of the Resistance series.

Resistance is my fav franchise after Metroid. It is very underrated and often simplified by people who never gave the opportunity to see more than just the gameplay and graphics. If you read the intels and look at the environment, you'll see more stories. The setting is a character itself as much as the protagonist. Resistance Fall of Man is the first on PS3. It works as an intro to that world. The World War never happened. The "aliens" started the invasion from Russia and covered Europe. When they started to spread to England, the USA went there to help. Nathan Hale got infected, and instead of turning into one of the aliens like anyone else, he got a fast healing power and "immunity" to the alien virus. Resistance Retribution works as a "Resistance 1.5" because it tells the story of a different soldier and shows how the aliens prepared to invade USA. Resistance Bruning Skies (PSVita) story is about the initial steps of the aliens in the USA. The government had kept a secret all what was happening in Europe and the rest of the world with the alien invasion. Propaganda at its best to control the population for obvious reasons. The protagonist is a Firefighter who answers a call from a power plant on fire. When the firefigthers arrive, as they ebter the complex to solve the emergency, they notice the presence of the aliens and are attacked. Once you got out of that mess, you see more of them invading the streets and going through the story you help some civilian resistnace groups and rescue your family too. In Resistance 2 (PS3) the aliens already invaded USA, and every question from the previous entries is answered the reason of Hale's inmmunity and fast healing power. Resistance 3 deals with the aftermath of Resistance 2 but years later and a conclusion to the story (I didn't like that way it ends, but the story is great). Read the intels. There's a whole world build there. 😎

The BM001 Razor is basically your ultimate solution for any difficult situation. Just charge your shot, shoot anywhere near the enemies and it will bounce around and take a bunch of them out. I tried to up the challenge by turning off auto aim but that weapon is basically auto aim.
