Resonance occurs in AC circuits when reactance is effectively eliminated. This can only happen at a specific frequency for any given inductor and capacitor combination. When the inductor and capacitor are in series, it occurs when their reactances are equal and effectively makes the combined impedance 0 Ohms.
This video shows how to determine the frequency at which resonance occurs and then shows the effect on the voltages across components as well as the real, reactive and apparent power in the system.

Question: Why is a plus used with the AC sign symbol of the voltage source in the drawing of the circuit ? Thanks for your great video.

The plus sign is just there to set a reference point. i.e., if you were going to measure with an oscilloscope, you'd put the ground on the other side. I'd prefer not to put it in, but I drew that schematic with Digikey's Scheme-It and that's the way their symbol looks.

Hell, Please, stop placing + or - signs for AC voltage, where AC is not polarized. The shown circuit does not make sense and never operates with DC and C1. Please indicate your AC power supplies with H, N, and G. Moreover, there are no polarizations + on L1 and - on C1. Sincerely,

Unfortunately there are text book that confuse us with these symbols.

@@suhailasaba1051 Hello, By design, textbooks are nothing; nevertheless, facades are there to deceive people and keep them ignorant. All signs and values such as π, Sin, Cos, Ln, e, C, LY, G, g, ETC. are values that if God had used, the universe would have fallen apart before its creation. Try to draw a circle with a radius of 50.e1cm and π~3.141592653589793 238 46264338327950288419→∞. If the completion of the sketch gets achieved, let the whole world know. Also, it is good to remember that Einstein was a crook and E≠MC², where the speed of light is not constant (anywhere) and increases as this note get written and read. %9.99999408068e1 of the Earth's population is ignorant, including scientists, politicians, scholars, Drs., intellectuals, and moms and pops.
