So far, it is best video on resonance, all others just start bombarding you with formulas without explaining the underlying logic (which is so more important, because without logic you forget all)

Resonance doesn't mean maximum output or maximum current. It is defined as the condition in ac circuit under steady state when current is in phase of voltage.

Yeah, see i° and f graph, only in resonance you get maximum current, similar in oscillation and waves

00:02 Resonance is achieving maximum current output for a given input frequency. 01:24 Impedance depends on the frequency in alternating circuits 02:52 Resonant frequency gives maximum current 04:13 Minimizing the number for resonant frequency 05:38 Resonant frequency is the frequency at which current becomes maximum. 07:15 Impedance is dominated by the capacitor at frequencies lower than the resonant frequency. 08:32 At the resonant frequency, the current is maximum and the bulb glows very bright. 09:53 At resonance, a circuit behaves like a pure resistive circuit. The impedance should be √R^2 + (XL-Xc)^2 .... I didn't understood why sir used Xc - XL....
@Kashitokaru.
@Kashitokaru. 7 ай бұрын
There are two cases. First when inductive reactance is greater than capacitive reactance ie,(Xl-Xc) is used and vice versa.

I didn't understand one point. You said that Vmax is going to be constant if we change w. But if we change the frequency Vmax is going to change,isn't?(because of V=B.A.N.w sin(wt))
@jagruti_b
@jagruti_b 2 жыл бұрын
They didn't mean to say Vmax is going to be constant. They meant to say how do we get Imax while keeping Vmax constant, so the only thing we can change is w by changing the frequency.
