I have an original LIVE recording of all of this music from my second visit to Epcot in 2004 (the first was in 1984)! I sat there literally for the entire musical score from The Land beside a speaker with my minidisc recorder! Man, that was great!

That's awesome! I had a minidisc recorder a long time ago as well. Did you ever share your recordings online? I think I have a few live recordings in my collection that were made by a Dan Smith. :-)

I had all my recordings online at one time. I sometimes run them in my radio server so everyone can listen but I don't usually get a lot of listeners. And yes, I am that Dan Smith. :) It's nice to know there are still people who have my recordings!

It's interesting how much extraneous sound our ears (and your recorder) are picking up while we are there. In some ways I like it because of the "ambiance" and in other ways it detracts. Thank you for recording.

Never noticed this before, but the old design of The Land exterior almost looks like something from Tron.

I have reached the conclusion that every song in this area loop has a title including either “sun” or “moon”. I don’t know what to do with this information.

DaShrimp1 every song does, and for good reason. It fit perfectly with the theme of the pavilion. This loop is just as preppy as the Main Street USA.

The food court where this music played was called, "The Sunshine Season food Fair." Not sure why the moon got equal billing, but there you go.

Was recently on a Carnival cruise and heard this very version of Moon River in their Flick show. The show is all about famous songs from famous movies. This was used as an interlude between two scenes.

+Horizons1 From park opening until around 2005 when Soarin' came in. That's when they refurbished the inside of the Pavilion.
