Update on the Before Entering Tile section(as of the date of this post): Activating speed up gathering buff works retroactively, meaning you can activate buff AFTER the troops have entered the tile. You will notice the time decrease instant; I made sure this wasn’t just a visual glitch by reloading the game multiple times. I suggest you test this out for yourself if you see this weeks or months beyond the date of this post as they may change it again.

Great video. I definitely rank as what you would consider as an advanced gatherer. Just a few notes that might help people advance a little quicker. For really early in the game (beginner, and maybe intermediate) there is a very easy set that can help you with gathering speed. With a 2 set of transcendence armor you can pick up an extra 8% speed and 10% load with a 4 set. Load is very important for early gathering, but people will relatively quickly reach a point where march size makes load far less important. When setting up your gathering generals with books or marches, I always recommend keeping them booked the same. You never know what tiles you may be able to send to and if you have one general left set up for ore, and you need food you wont be getting much benefit. Finally in order to minimize materials costs for gear, I would outfit your generals in champions (add transcendence ring and weapon in case you make a mistake before sending out). Build 1 set of each type of kings armor ( you can dump as much into refining here as you like). This allows you to swap the pieces you need for a particular tile and move them off when you get there. For dragon, you can use any pieces from a general you arent using to pick up the extra bonus. Once you start the tile, swap back to just original gear set like you mentioned.

Very thorough and you are spot on. I would suggest sticking with Tier 1 siege, they consume 0 food. Also I wanted to point out that the total capacity you mentioned is not protected in the warehouse. If a player drops bubble and gets hit or is competing in SVS, a lot of hard work is down the drain. The difference averages to a 35% gain in resources using kings gear opposed to champion gear. Saves about 17 minutes on gathering times. The cook time building the gear may concern some, but this game is a marathon and not a sprint, Well done my man.

A way to maximize gathering... Use gathering speed buff before sending out gatherers... not after. Have 1x full set of kings gear, 5 starred, with 1x 10% gather speed refine on weapon, helmet , and legs. Have each gatherer equipped with a champions set, and transcendence bow /ring, no refines, no stars. Have a specific RSS gatherers with 45% gather speed book... Once you chose a tile to gather, (stone for example) equip your general 45% gather speed stone with kings sword, kings boot (for stone) , kings helmet (for stone) champion armor, champion pants, transcendence ring... Set your monarch gear for stone gathering, send our general Once he/she reaches the tile, swap the kings gear weapon for transcendence bow, kings helmet for champion, king boot for champion. The buff of speed still applies , and now the gatherer will have the extra 10% rss after completing the tile... you can also switch the monarch gather speed gear to another one and it wont affect the speed at the current tile.... This trick works with all RSS tiles. If you use the gather speed buff after hot swapping gather gear the trick wont work.

I don’t believe you get any benefit from using any of the transcendence gear over kings gear, unless you are at a point where you can’t craft kings gear yet. As for using gear combinations with kings and dragon gear, and swapping out for champions gear, if you follow as illustrated in the video, it works perfectly well and gives you the max benefit of gathering speed and gathering bonus 🙂👌

Will probably have to wait until Evony gives us the option of a 7th march. Lord knows it’s needed. Until then, maybe consider specializing that last Jindeok for a specific resource type, food for example 👌

Fantastic video. I have been using these methods for a long long time, it is nice to see them listed for others to easily follow. It is hard to teach and convince my teammates how to do some of these things :) The one wrong piece of information in your instructions is how the 'keep' gathering boost buff works (when it expires). You correctly stated this buff only matters at the instant when you hit the alliance tile (this is correct). BUT you also list that you need to have a buff that covers the entire life of a world tile gather. This is not correct. If your buff lasts only 1 second after the march arrives at a world rss tile, it will be enough, and that it expired will not matter. The buff (the + speed percent) is computed the instant the march hits the tile, AND it will cover the entire life of that gather, just like all other speed buffs. Easy to test. Simply setup a march that will complete a tile (minimum number of troops). Set the march to arrive at the tile just before your buff expires (3 to 5 minutes is safe). Once the gather buff expires, DO NOT reset a new one (for this test). So very shortly after the march arrives, the buff ends. Keep track of the size of tile (and your % extra load buffs), and keep track of when the game originally stated the tile would be consumed. You will find that the tile will END exactly when it should, and that you will get the correct amount. Just ignore the info menu on the tile, it is NOT giving you valid information (just like happens when you change horn, crystal, or generals gear after the march is gathering ON the tile). The gather buff expiring is just like switching your boots from kings ore to champion. The buff changes, BUT this does not impact the actual gather in any way at all.

My gathering set up is Atila w extra march size buff and troop load skills. I like it. I also gave him the summon which raises troop load. I gather a ton this way.

Attila is alright to use for now, but he’s not a gathering general. As you develop, you should be looking to switch him out for a proper gathering general. There are several of them that you could use (mentioned in the video). So keep an eye out for them and pick up a few when you get the chance to 😉👌

Great video. I was hoping to find some more gathering tips but no new information here for me. I think more people need to realize how being great at gathering can help their game. Currently I have 6 lv32 Jindeok's with 5 marches. Currently I can clear the level 15 8.4m tiles in under 4 hours and bring back 23.4 m from each one. I never lose a gathering event for SvS. Your information that you've provided is vital for resource gathering. Since the big update my Alliance has seen some changes in the frequency of larger tiles and a drop in double resource sites. The tile amounts are cut in half either prior to SvS or post SvS which is frustrating at times.

If you found the information here helpful, then I’m really happy about that. Resource gathering is an area that is usually overlooked in favour of PvP and other things, but being able to gather effectively is very important, particularly for people that don’t coin much. Given the current situation on your server, my advice would be to come up with a plan for how you structure your gathering everyday, and try to maximize it as much as you can. It might seem slow at first, but after a few days, the resources will start piling up. Stay strong and keep grinding 💪

I might be going out on a limb here, but I've found the best gathering combination to be the 4 champion's gear (helmet, leg armor, boots, and chest armor) with 2 dragon's gear (ring and any weapon). You mention how the extra resources from gathering is such a big deal. The king's gear gives a base 15% speed increase per resource, per piece as a basic attribute. That same 15% is automatically made up with the champions set (5% gathering speed on each piece + 10% gathering speed for the set). The reason champion's set is preferred is because of the 10% EXTRA RESOURCES from gathering, which brings Jindeok to a cool 50% when coming home. The final 2 pieces of dragon gear add another 15% on gathering speed to fully dress Jindeok. These numbers are based on gear with no enhancements or stars..... Please let me know what you think!!

You are right, if you are just looking at the base stats for Kings gear alone. With the set attributes, Champions gear fully starred ⭐️ gives 17.5% gathering speed. Kings gear fully starred gives at least 25% per piece. And you would typically have 3 pieces of Kings gear on your gathering general, so that’s at least 75% gathering speed. Champions gear doesn’t come close to that. The other main reason why people like Champions gear is because it’s cheap to make 😄. But Kings gear is still the best gear for gathering. In general, it’d be best to combine the gear sets as I demonstrated in the video 👍

@@RedEvony hey thanks for pointing this out, I didn't realize that through the 2 different types of Kings gear you can get 2 pieces to enhance army particular gathering type. For 50% bonus. On top of that, Champions gear has a refinement cap of 10%, whereas king's gear has a cap of 15%. So you can refine it to get higher boots. I didn't realize this, thanks. About the only case where champions would be little more beneficial is if you were going to bed for the additional 10% gathering bonus. I'm not seeing where dragon gear would be of an advantage as the above poster stated. Any way I slice it, I come out lower than the Champion/Kings gear combinations discussed since the King's weapons have such large boosts.

Update of my progress @Aka-sensei, Currently have 1 blue korea and 5 greens , + 1 America ,using 3 constances upgrading a 4th constance (No Queens yet, sud Tav 25) using 4 pc champion set + 2 pc transcend (no mats for Kings , No dragon scrolls yet uf) Skills and Research I went for ore gathering maximized, I have troop load + ore gathering speed + ore exploitation on all 3 gens , lvl 20 rn and about 600-ish politics. Currently sitting about 1.2B ore ~ 60days+- playing the game , I think Im somewhere intermediate-ish. Oh and switching havent done those since I only just recently unlocked full king for my Alfred ! Sounds like you are doing great so far 👍👍 In terms of generals, you could probably try pushing that politics up a bit. 600 ish is ok, but could be better. For now, try aiming for 800 👌 You also probably want to start raising your other gathering research in the Academy as well. If you are not ready for the alliance tile yet, that’s cool. Just remember to keep it in mind 😉 With Constance and the champions gear, you definitely should be getting extra resources and it should show up on your gathering report 👌 As for the exploitation books, I assume that the extra resources your get are automatically added to your top gathered amount (like in the case of extra rss from subs). The only real way to test it is to re-book your general and then compare the difference in rss gathered

Hi and thank you 😊🙏 Yes, if you change gear, the gathering speed displayed in the tile will change. However, the march timer for gathering will not change even if you change gear. So, the tile will still finish at the same time. It only changes if you refresh your gathering buff

So if the players want to all buffs, they will gain buffs when they apply and they will lose buffs when they remove. lf l am wrong l will check again. Thank you for sharing your experiences

I have been through 20 minutes of this video, although I highly appreciate what you said, I leanlrnt that with time, but one thing I would like to know is yoi did not memtioned, the skill books of food, wood, ore and stone exploitation that we get from either the firat week of gameplay or from the second week of gameplay, that skillbook of level 3 give 25% extra resources that we exploits in the gathering ..... Yoshihiro is best for food, Constance is good for all, but Lumber gatheringbis her speciality if aomeone wants to upgrade her talents, beaidea this the general we get once we reach level 8 or level 9 by defeatong fenrir, he is equal to Constance for the gathering ..... 😁

I don’t agree with that 😅😅 To begin with, gear is not active on assistant generals, so putting the gear on Lucy as an assistant wouldn’t help. The gear should be on the main general. Also, Lucy’s skill is for gathering speed, not bonus resources. So, no help there either. Lucy is very useful as an assistant particularly when gathering from the alliance tile. But again, that’s due to her gathering speed and not gear. So yeah, I think you can scrap that bit of advice 😉

It is better to have one main rss in city and use the relevant production gear on your monarch. Shajar Aldur is a great peacetime wall general who increases your rss production by 100%. A fully equipped L35 Jindeok should clear a L15 tile in under five hours, I think? 🤔

The setup combination for in-city rss is something that a lot of people have different preferences for. So, I can’t really say which is best 🤷‍♂️ I personally produce varying amounts of all 4 rss in my city. As for the L35 Jindeok, the speed would also depend greatly on the research. For example, my L33 Jindys clear a L15 tile in under 5 hours when fully geared up. They can do L14 tile in just under 4.5 hours.

How come my resources gathering speed often changes? Usually, when using buffs+skill books+developed Jindeok on politics=3hrs and 34 mins on a level 15 tile (could be less when I use an assistant). Now it changes to either 3hrs45mins, 3hrs55mins, worse was 4hrs 11mins while using buffs and all… is it because the initial resources gathered increase due to sub buffs that’s why it also changes?? But I don’t think so, I have noticed these changes even when I had the same sub cities for awhile…

Congrats on your first Jindeok 🥳🥳👏👏👏 For relics, basic stats like General level help, but buffs like gathering speed don’t. To improve your gathering in relics, you need to do the relic research in the Academy. There are different research points for the different levels of relics. Make sure you are researching the right one for the level of relics you normally do. For example, I only do Mysterious Relics (no Lv1 - Lv5), so I only focused on the research for that. 👌

Thank you 😊 Unfortunately, there aren’t many good generals in the game that can be used as assistants for gathering. The main ones are Princess Lucy, Shimazu Yoshihiro for food, Gaius Marius and a few others. You could use Attila, but he’s not primarily a gathering general. Once you have Queen Jindeok, or at least Constance, you’ll be fine 👍

You could and it would help, but you need to be selective about how you refine gear for your gathering generals. Refining stones are often quite limited in supply. You might want to refine for other generals first 👌

Thank you 🙏 You get Queen Jindeok in the tavern. You will likely need to use gems to refresh the tavern. Each time you refresh, it provides a new selection of generals. Keep refreshing until the one you want pops up 👌 Technically speaking, you could get Queen Jindeok at any tavern level, but the odds of getting good generals significantly increases when your tavern is Lv28 and higher

The best way to level up generals is on a sub city. I have a video for that you can check out. Otherwise, it’s putting them in a sub city and using them for PvP like in Battlefield. That will get them leveled up as well

I tried a test. I picked a Stone resource spot. Assigned troops under Constance and it showed it would take 3:34 to finish gathering. Keeping all else exactly the same, added a King’s Sword to Constance (40% Stone Gathering Speed) and checked the gathering time. It was now 3:29. That’s not even close to a 40% boost.

All attributes in Evony start off with “Base Stats”. That includes things like gathering speed. Through various means: generals, gear, research, buffs etc additions are made to this base stat to give you the final value, in this case gathering speed. So the 40% Stone Gathering speed that you are referring to is applied to the base stat, not the final value/time that you previously had. That is why the increase is like that. Hope I was able to explain it ok 😄👍

Well, the thing with this game is that it’s a marathon (and not just in the tortured metaphor sense 😂) unless you’ve got $$$ to pump in. 😅 Imo, a 5 minute reduction is good. But the trick you missed is that you were kinda focused on getting a huge cut from just one source. There are 4-5 different sources for you to potentially increase your gathering speed, and you need to attack them all at once, pretty much. That way, you’ll start seeing considerable improvement.

Hi 👋 and hope you are enjoying the game so far 😊 As for the rogues, the avenue of options available to you will depend on if you are stronger than the rogues or not. If you are, then you could, for example, set traps for them. When they come to hit your gathering tile, you hit them instead. Something like that 😉 However if they are stronger than you, then the options become a bit more limited. The best advice I can give is for you to gather with low level troops, preferably t1 ground troops. That way if you do get hit, the damage won’t be significant. Also, do not gather close to your hive. It makes it easier for them to find your tiles. Try to gather 70km or more away from your hive. That should help 😇👌

Hi 🙂👋 The only way you can get her is in the tavern. I don’t know what level your tavern is now, but the higher your tavern level is, the better chances you will get. So maybe consider raising your tavern level 👌 Also, it will take quite a bit of effort, so I suggest you save up a lot of gems 💎. About 200K gems 💎 should be alright. Might need more if you are extremely unlucky though 😅, but I think that should be fine.

Hi, but thers a but. If not use champion gear but only kingsgear you loose the 10% extra. I use Champion gear and 2 piece of kings gear, that way I get the extra 10% and the 50% gathering speed and 15% march speed. This way I get the 840k extra that otherwise would not get. So my total from a lv.15 tile that has 8,4milj is over 11milj. Why not do it this way?

The gathering speed buffs you get from Kings gear are still much higher than what you get from Champions gear. In addition, with the Kings gear set up, you can also add 2 pieces of Dragon gear for additional gathering speed boost. If your intention is to maximize gathering speed and gathering bonus, you can switch the gear out to Champions gear when the troops are in the tile, as I demonstrated in the video. 👌 Also, if you are using 4 pieces of Champions gear and 2 pieces of Kings gear, then the Kings gear pieces will be the Weapon and the Ring. Unfortunately, the Kings ring doesn’t have any gathering speed attributes on it. So it’s essentially just 1 Kings piece in that set up But of course, any set up you are comfortable with is cool, was just pointing out the best way to maximize things 😊👍

The dragon spear has set attribute gathering speed +15 but king spear has gathering food +15 under basic attribute. I know your video said to get kings gear for weapons but is it better to get a dragon spear because it will cover all the resources? Nice that you noticed the end 😁👍 Ok, you are having a little bit of a misunderstanding there. While the King spear has food gathering speed on it, the dragon spear does not. In fact, the dragon spear itself has no gathering attributes at all. The set attribute that you are referring to there, is for dragon gear as a whole, not just the spear. To get that set attribute, you need 2 pieces of dragon gear on the general. It can be any piece: spear, armor, ring, anyone. And it’s 15% in total, not 15% for each dragon gear piece. That is why my recommendation for getting maximum gathering speed involves combinations of Kings gear with 2 dragon gear pieces 😉👍

If by “max out” you mean raising the duty general’s class (junior, medium, senior, etc), then there are 2 main things you need to do: 1. Raise the general’s level; 2. Raise the cultivation of the relevant stats on the general.

The amount of troops you send out determines how much resources you can bring back. This is displayed at the bottom of the screen when you are selecting troops to send out. You want to send out enough troops to clear the tile you are going to. If you send fewer troops than needed, you won’t bring back the maximum amount from that tile. You could send more troops than needed, but the max amount of resources will depend on the tile you are sending to. For the alliance tile, you can send as many troops as you like 👌

Great as always Aka. I use all your tricks here. Few months now always top 5 Monarch comp for rss day. One part I'm looking for clarification on...the dragon gear bonus. I send w/3 kings gear. Question is to recieve dragon gear bonus the 2 dragon pieces need to be on when? At completion when leaving tile or at completion when reaching keep? I don't think it's when you are sending out...looking for clarification on this.

Great to hear about the progress you’ve had in these few months. Awesome 💪 For the dragon gear bonus, the gear needs to be on the general before entering the tile. Once in, the speed buffs will be applied. 👌 For the champions gear extra resource bonus, the gear needs to be on the general before leaving the tile 👌 if put on after the troops leave the tile but before they get back to the keep, the bonus will not be applied.

@@RedEvony i am keep 30 and can rake from tile 13 an amount of 5.8M ores in 2 hours 25 minutes. And 2 hours 50 minutes from tile 14 which has 7M. I have three green korea. With champions,kings and Dragon gears. 6 Jindeoks. And have given books for all to have a go at to bring a particular tile all at once. My development research tree is 97% done. With crystal at level 7. I'm not the best at all with gathering. Kudos you mentioned all i know about this event.

The exploitation books are a new feature that was released much after I’d made that video. Tbh, I don’t even have any of those books right now. I suspect they are either premium books, or server restricted (meaning not all servers have gotten them yet). Once I get my hands on them, I’ll put out updated info 🙂👌

Hi 👋 I assume you know this already, but the only way to get Queen Jindeok is in the Tavern. She’s not an easy general to get, so you need to make sure that: 1. Your Tavern level is high enough (I recommend at least Lv27) 2. You have enough gems 💎 to refresh the Tavern (I recommend at least 150K gems 💎) Of course, these are not hard rules. You could get her with less, or you might need more. There’s a bit of luck involved unfortunately. What level is your Tavern now? And what have you tried so far?

@@RedEvony I'm lvl 35 keep 36. I try to do tavern I spend like only 10×50 gems which is 500 gems I press Epic orange and Historic general together. And I do it when I have enough gems cause I gather, solo and rally mostly for get rss and materials. I do relic every 2 weeks to get to do puzzles cause I taught I can get her there but then they told me that maybe I can get her there. I put 4 spare in and the other 1 gathering and the last rally or join rallies.

There's a limit that you can gather a day. It happened to me several time. When i sent 4 marches. I spent hours to gather only to get +1 rss in one of the march. It said, you've reach the limit gatering warehouse or something like that. Seriously, the game should've warned me before doing gathering if im about to reach the limit. It pissed me off when that happened. That's one thing lack of this game.

Yeah, there’s a limit on gathering linked to the warehouse level. I believe it was mentioned in the video. All you need to do is upgrade your warehouse. You can view your gathering limit in the warehouse 👌

Hi 👋 You can get Queen Jindeok in the Tavern, but I don’t think there is an “easy” way to do it😅 You need your Tavern level to be high enough (I recommend Lv29 for best results) and You’d need a lot of gems 💎 to refresh the tavern (I recommend around 300K gems 💎). That should be enough, but it’s still based on luck 😅

Yes you can! If you are gearing for speed then ok 👌. If you are gearing for extra resources, you still can, but need to make sure you have the gear back on the other Jindeok by the time she’s about to leave the tile. Otherwise, the extra resources from the gear won’t apply.

It’s called “Raiding the Tavern”. You basically go in and keep refreshing the tavern (with gems 💎) until you get the general(s) you want. The higher your tavern level, the better your chances of getting the top quality generals in there. Will probably need about Tavern Lv29 to do this somewhat effectively. Can still do it with lower tavern levels, of course. It’ll just be much more difficult 👌 Of course, you could also get really lucky and Queen Jindeok could just pop up in your tavern without you doing anything 😂🤞

Instead of raiding until you find jjndeok, what I had done was check every 4 hours and refresh around 20 to 50 times a day. I don't get many gems to blow on tavern, so I done it shifts. Have 4 jindeoks and 2 baibars now. Not to mention a whole bunch of duty officers :).

@@RedEvony Well I have gotten my tavern to 27 on server 1063. I have gotten Vlad, Jefferson, and Edward. I still haven't gotten her. lol I think I have spent around 10k gems. I have seen though they temporary locked some generals though.
