This is absolutely amazing!! I've been recovering from pneumonia for the last few years...been trying to manage my breathe control by singing songs with short phrases and long breaks 🤭🤭

That sounds so frustrating 🥺. Just know that recovery is possible! Don’t give up 💪🏽😌

@@ericarceneaux thank u, i think the most frustrating part of the URI's going around, especially Covid, is the lasting impact on the vocal chords. This is definitely worth some discussion and Im wondering what helped other vocalists? I can say that a warm saline gargle 2-3 times a day helps me but diligence is imperative.

Same!!!! Im a sick girl with a rare breathing condition. Eric’s guidance is empowering. And it’s helped me all of these years. When I go to perform it’s a good feeling and really blows people out of their chair. It’s possible. 🙏🏼😮💨🦾🔥❤️🔥🪩

I've been singing now for three and a half years from having absolutely no voice to now singing shows I have used a lot of programs to help Eric's material stands toe to toe with any of them if not being a cut above the only reason one may need to go outside is to have more contrast and variety but his technique and pedagogy is very very solid

Thank you Mr. Eric. The breathing exercises were a little challenging because of the yrs of smoking. However I did feel a difference by the end of the 3rd video. It will not be a walk in the park but I know it will be worth it. Dedication and consistency. I also tried to book a one on one with you so you’ll know exactly where im at vocally but you’re completely booked up no availability until September.

Excellent advice as always, Eric! My vocals are unrecognizable from even 5 years ago thanks to all your KZbin lessons. Do you think you could do a video about vocal & breathing tips while playing another instrument (piano or guitar) and what effect that has, if any, on ideal vocal posture and breathing? Thanks!

Hi Eric! Really grateful for this! By the way, what if my vocal folds are not closing anymore? Doctor said need to avoid surgery. Lost my falsetto already. Hope you can advise. Thank you in advance! God bless!

I have been following Eric since 7-8 years ..in my early day i was not able to realise how body connection works but with time i felt every part of my body contributing and where i lack..Eric i remember you telling exercises about doing lips trills while bending on the knees ..as knees are sometimes weak..i am not able to control that part as i have knocked knees and that exercise takes so much time to show some improvement..can you suggest exercises for lower belly and knees and even ankle as i feel they are stiff and my lower body doesn't contribute much to my voice...thank you

I can do a tongue trill but sometimes it takes me a few tries to lip trill without using my tongue…am I lip trilling wrong? Lol
@ericarceneaux Жыл бұрын
Having your tongue be active while trilling won’t necessarily cause harm. I do, however, recommend putting forth the extra time and effort to practice and master lip trills with a relaxed tongue. Being able to move focused air without interference from the tongue (especially the tongue root) is important for overall vocal freedom.
