We've just done 7 days wild in our NV200 round Ireland - not too dissimilar to yours in terms of build, and we could have easily have done two weeks. 3 degree camps, no issue (no heater). If you've any track record in camping, then going into a NV200 that's "only" converted to this level is like staying in a hotel.

Hi James, you asked why i dont film my builds, another reason you just highlighted, i really could not be doing with all the nonsense comments. Your van is Built not bought and designed and constructed for your own needs and skills, and i appreciate all the time and effort you put into sharing on you tube, I wonder how many people have now got access to a campervan for a quarter of the cost of a much older VW all because of you? I love mine its more usable than my Transporter camper that cost 10 times more. Did you get my email and pics? Ed.

Hi Ed, yes got your email thanks, I really love what you've done with your van, especially the use of the door cavities (kind of wish I had done that with mine!). Thanks for taking the time to send them over, it's great seeing what other people have done with their vans!

Hi mate. thought I’d say that Iv just finished my nv200 van conversion (just have to make two bits of furniture now.) I got some great ideas from your videos and wanted to thank you. I’m even going to use your idea and fix the furniture down to the floor of the van by the D rings (so it’s all removable). I’m really happy with the result so far, So thanks a bunch!

Cheers for the info, I'm 2 weeks into my nv200 conversion and I've still a fair bit to figure out! I'm glad I'm using 2020 aluminium extrusion as I've bolted and un bolted and moved bits at least a dozen times 😂

Hi Paul, good luck with your conversion! I'd recommend buying a bit extra carpet just in case, you can always use it for something else, like I did with my window covers. Cheers, James

Hi, I got three 200cm x 50cm x 10cm high density foam sheets off Amazon, though you can find them in hardware stores too

Did you remove the two L shaped metal struts on the B pillars where the bulkhead was attached? if so, how?

No I didn't, I left them in. Reckon you'd need an angle grinder to get them off. I did wonder about using them to attach a handle for getting in and out of the van easier, just to find a use for them
