I would like to know how to deal with “I want to go home” when she’s in a nursing home and just doesn’t want to be there! She doesn’t understand that she can’t go home cos it’s not safe for her but she still thinks that she’s her old self and she just wants to go home.

I love the suggestion to tap into past memories. My question is at bedtime there is an issue of multiple spouses perhaps the young spouse and aged spouse. How could you help them understand the two are the same and, that they are not cheating, it's ok to lay down with them?
