For me, the biggest issue in this game is the commands that are not registered or the delay time to execute them. The amount of times I’m passing to player A but for some reason it passes to player B(which is no way near where I passed to) while my eyes are already on Player A is mind blowing. Not to mention all the broken mechanics people are abusing like finesse shots with Son from the half line or power shots from Mars that goes in

I'm 53 and I feel the same. Started Fut in 2019 and in 2020 in the lockdown my son in law showed me what it all was about. I liked it the first two years and played every WL. Before I played PES. But after the PS5 fifa just fell off and it isn't good anymore. E a fc is so bad. Gameplay is so clunky and slow. I'm going back to being a grandpa and leave this rubbish behind me.​@@uweSMG

EA show ZERO acknowledgement of how fucking shit this game is to play. The patch did absolutely nothing. Passing is the worst it's been in years, I am aiming straight at the dude, facing them and tap it AND THE GAME WILL FULL POWER PASS TO THE BLOKE BEHIND HIM. Through balls don't work at all. I do not understand how 90% of my games recently, it's comepltly against me. They constantly press, they will intercept out of nowhere and tackle me from behind as soon as I get the ball AND SOMEHOW it's the complete opposite for me. I am losing to shitters who do the same thing every single time and I know how to stop it, but the ball will ping straight back to them, my tackle doesn't come out, its dragging me away from them, dudes with 12 strength destroying my CBs and EA say fucking nothing. Its crazy to think that people don't understand that in a competitive online game there has to be a skill gap, otherwise the game is not worth putting time into. Being better than someone else gives you the edge, grinding a game and putting hours in does NOT pay off in FC25. In past Fifa/FCs you could easily beat casuals, now its based on luck from challenges or tackles who gets possession, basically a flip of a coin.

I disagree about football being boring during downtime. I find it tactically fascinating myself… and you seem like you are lobbying for an arcade style game. The problem is not the game speed in itself, it’s the mixture of game speed combined with arcadey mechanics. Also, there’s too many promo cards with upgraded pace destroying the balance of the gameplay

Personally I never play football games online, as too many things are out of your control regardless of your own skill level. I play career mode, so the basic gameplay is better for that, also I can’t adjust the sliders to tailor the gameplay even more to my liking. They almost need two separate games, Free to play, or cheaper at least, ultimate team with gameplay to suit online play, and a Career mode based game which focuses on simulation style gameplay that you pay normal price.

There is 2 different ideology of gamers that play the game traditionalists that want the game to be realistic while playing and the ones thst prefer a quicker multi button skills version. Neither group can see the others point of view. If ea cared they could have 2 different rivals division same with champs league. Let each style of gamer play the style they want. I think to enjoy this game you have to shift your mindset. You have to understand that this is not the same skeleton that you’ve been used to for the past 16 years since fifa 2008 revolutionised the football game concept. The last ounce of it left in fifa 2022/23! You have to understand that EA are actively trying to make their game true to life… which is why left stick dribbling is horrendous now, they want you to actively use R1 to dribble, L1 to size up, R2 + L2 to lower centre of gravity and R2 + R1 to shift turn (what busquets, Xavi and Frenkie do a lot). Lift stick just drives the player to a direction now, it doesn’t dribble (there’s a big difference). The next concept you need to understand is that if EA are coding their game to represent real life, the. Yes you will get 9 to 10 men behind the ball every time. It how football is in real life. The only way to penetrate this is to either hit on the counter attack or be patient and manoeuvre your opponent where you want to like in a real game. One thing that you have to understand is football tempo… not fifa tempo. When I switched my mindset to how I play in actual real game scenarios I began to win more and enjoy the game better. The last thing I will say, not to make this too long is that, I watch so much of your videos and see you complain about “there’s nothing on” or “the attacking ai is awful” but then I see your tactics and you have the RB/LB on fullback so they won’t offer any options unless you trigger, you have strikers on advance forward so they will always be close to the defenders, and you have the wingers on inside forward? Yet you’re complaining about have nothing on? Every player is where they need to be based on your tactics, the issue is that you are not thinking of things as zones, you’re just trying to get everyone close to the box as quick as possible and I’m sorry but you can’t force your way and beat 9 players with 6 players? 70% of the time the defender will win. I’m not saying this game is amazing, far from it… I’m just suggesting that maybe try shifting your mindset you’re not playing a fifa game anymore, you’re playing a football simulation Lol, so think like a footballer. Yes your games will be more boring but you’ll see less of that attacking AI movement problem etc… Hope you enjoyed my Ted talk but yeah still a broken game and currently one of the worst FIFA, but I don’t think it’s as bad as people say. And remember everyone thought fifa 14 was the worst fifa ever and incredibly awful in the first 3 month but here we are 10 years later and everyone considers it as one of the best ever! Let’s see if 25 can turn it around

honestly I agree with everything you say in this video for information I am 35 years old I started playing FIFA since FIFA1996 I missed a FIFA for personal reasons FIFA 13, I experienced all the other editions since 96 this year I made the decision not to buy fc for different reasons, I always watch a lot of content on youtube about fc and I am constantly partying with my friends who continued to play FC I was able to play the games like this shared thanks to them so I see what the games look like this year, knowing that I am above all a fan and player of football in the life of every day and at my age fifa or fc today is the only game that makes me want to play a console but this company does not deserve, already the increase in the price of the games compared to the regression of the gameplay but even less a loyalty to all tests when we know all the things that have regressed in the games being someone who has never put money into fifa I have always had everything I wanted thanks to the time I spent in the game, the sbc and bronze leagues pack method one I can trade to make credits little by little but even from this point of view it's not like before and this game is more and more pay to win, for information I have been a Div Elite player for years I was 16win in futchamp last year with fun teams and played constantly with my evo Olympic team from Marseille as rivals, this is also one of the reasons that pushed me to leave the games continue to make this kind of videos, they are always interesting and informative and don't listen to all these young people who have not known all the versions of FIFA like you and me🙏

This game isn’t real football at all, but let’s be honest it never has been, it was far too arcady before, far too slow now & we can’t trust ea to find any reasonable balance, defensive heavy this year, attack heavy prior, some people are gonna like it, some aren’t, I’m in div 2, have played in div 1 & it’s more rewarding to have no ball & counter attack than have the ball & dominate possession, in a sense it is realistic to certain games, but I’m of the opinion that games shouldn’t be realistic. Just my 2 cents

Load up the new gen version go into UT and then exit back to the main menus. Then load the old gen version. You have to exit which ever version you played last. Hope this helps.

I think we broadly have two camps of players - those "purists" who see this game mainly as a sports simulator (probably a smaller group) and those who want a football-themed arcady gameplay. EA are trying to serve both sides by hitting the golden middle, but failing to make anyone happy. Originally, Fifa was just an attemt at replicating football, but since the inception of Ultimate Team, it has been steering away from the real sport and has become just another video game that takes advantage of the sportʼs popularity. Realism and pay to win cannot happily exist in the same game. I get the point that this game genre has inherent issues meaning that it can never fully replicate football. But this does not mean it should not try to.

For me the main problem is the Hackers. I could deal with most of the other stuff like lack of content and people exploiting corners or travels. But the Hackers are a big problem. I played a guy today in rivals and the game started he got siren to my goal slopy and lucky and missed by a long shot. Then I got the ball and got to his goal in 3 passes. He saw right away I was better, paused the game and when resumed he kicked me off and shut off my game and I got a loss just as if I rage quit. Don't understand why someone would actually enjoy winning that way. I am tempted to buy the Jack's myself because I'm sure that has to be done setting on there that would protect you against other Hackers. I know red dead redemption trainers had that and it had to buy that because playing on line that game was impossible.

This game is truly a RNG based game, no matter how good you are (unless you play all the bullshit meta glitches), you gonna lose to some casual player who barely who how to do r3 switching or run in straight line. I was In elite div and rank 3-4 champs in previous games, now I stuck in div 3, lose most of the games to some glitches and meta abuser and totally rely on luck players. Most of the game I control the game with an average of 10+ shots 3 xgs, and EA rewards me with some stupid defending ai and whole lot of rebounds for my opponents that cause me most of my games. Quitted this nauseating game for good.

Few points which make this game bad (IMO): 1. Inconsistency. Sometimes game helps you to score silly goals, sometimes it's impossible to score, even with green tf. Same with passes and other aspects of the game. Such games often finish with losses despite huge overall Xg advantage. 2. Huge amount of animations. Even with best connection in known universe, you will still have feeling like playing with 150ms ping, players run on a knee-deep swamp instead of a pitch. 3. Obsolete ratings and stats. Ea destroyed card stats completelly, it doesn't reflect card's performance at all. It's wild that card with 84 rating might be actually better than ~90 cards. 4. Ea don't care about community. Any problem can be solved by adding more lootboxes. Few points which I don't agree with: 1. Defencive AI and game speed. I think that breaking through some obstacles is fun part of the games in general. Making it more fast, more casual would make it less attractive from competitive perspective. 2. Since EA calls this game "football simulator", it should give us expirience comparable to RL. It doesn;t mean we need to play 90 minutes, but we should not see scores like 15-14. Overall, I'm watching your videos since start of FC24, and agree that this game feels much worse

I'm currently in D2, reached Elite last year. I think the main issue of the game is manual defending. Ball bouncing back to the opponent after tackling is definitely the main problem, but it is more than that. The manual movement of defenders are so sluggish to a point that doesn't make sense. In reality a person without the ball should be able to move faster than a person who is dribbling with the ball. After moving to the left I should be able to move to the right immediately if I want to. Any healthy person can do it. On top of this stupid mechanics, they have a momentum script that occationally make your players stuck in mud (very obvious after you score two goals and in the last 10-20 minutes of the game), which is so ridiculous. With all these mechanics working together, I often feel like EA tying up all my defenders and let the opponent rape me... I'm not against slower gameplay and more realistic approach, but the game is not realistic at all. And please at least let me control my players normally. This is the fundamental of playing a game.

I was using a Man U PNP, the team was 85% evos. The team was very weak compared to what I was playing against. I was Div 2-1 and getting 9-11 wins in champs and I have quit this game becuase the higher divisions is just about who can abuse mechanics better.

If I may. I'm not a fifa Og or anything like that. My first fifa fut experience was in fifa 22, and after putting in God knows how many hours, (thinking in thr begging I was just new to fut, (I've played fifa before but only Manger mode and create a player etc) after near the end of the game cycle, when futties released, and I know had all the meta cards finally. (Since I play in Belgium, there is no fifa store or fifa points available- it's banned here my game doesn't have a fifa store or way to add points. So everything I got was from playing the game.. anyway back to my point, after getting all the meta players, I found it was easier to beat all these guys that were destroying me before with my "cheap team". Since I do everything manually, (a habit that kills u in eafc24) so after that I knew something wqs up with the game. It wasn't fun, before fifa 22 I had never broke a controller, or table or raged at anything. After fifa 22 ,4 broken controllers banned from playing when the kids and wife are home. That game was just not fun full stop. I told my self no way I will ever give ea sports one euro of my money anymore. So I skipped fifa 23, and waited for fc24 to become a free psn download. I skipped eafc25 and with seeing all the comments, I'm sure I'm continuing to make the right choice..

Is designed to have no skill gap You can be a veteran hardcore player, It doesn't matter, you can play against a shit player, you can loose or at least have a hard game. It blows my mind how people compare this game to real football yet nobody I face in the high divisions even trys to play football and abuses the more arcadey broken mechanics. Also if you just look at the attacking AI and think that is how real football works on the attack you don't have a clue about football. Every sunday league striker knows how to make a better run than the most expensive cards on the game.

I commented yesterday and I wasn’t critiquing that you are bad for the game etc by making videos. I enjoy your videos. I was making a point about my personal experience with the game over the years. Quite a few years ago I played for the ranked 1 club in pro clubs. I was elite in fit champs and div 1 in rivals. Then the game completely changed. I hated the game and stopped playing. I only played casually as my son enjoys the game. I’ve started playing this fifa again and it’s far from perfect! But compared to the fifas before when they completely changed the game play I really enjoy it. Some people enjoy how it was and some people will enjoy how it is now. I’ve just got out of a game that I felt was completely scripted. I was winning 4-3 in the 88yh minute. I lost 5-4 with him scoring the final goal in the 93:12 when the game at 90 mins was 90+2. I feel like I play cheats a lot that for some reason are able to make my top rated defenders that play on high press sit deep on the edge of my own box and then they R1 X pass into the strikers and it’s a 2v2 with my centre backs. I just don’t think it is as bad as everyone is saying. Fifa even when I enjoyed the game years ago had lots of people complaining to EA about scripting. Overall my point to your video yesterday I was trying to make was just because you don’t like the game doesn’t mean that everyone doesn’t like it. There are plenty who enjoy it and if you want to say the players that do enjoy are bad players etc then I’m sure you will get alot of negative responses. When you say the best players feel like they are being beat by casuals? Have you asked any pro footballers their opinion on the game? If pro footballers enjoy it shouldn’t that be the yard stick to judge it? Rather than some sweat who lives with his mum and dad and plays the game 24/7?

I played this game since I was a little kid, from 96 till today. But, starting from 2017, my boy joined me -he was only 6 years by then-! He kept getting more involved year after year, till he was on the peak of loving the game in 23! But, he lost interested last year around TOTS, and this year, he did not even share with me one moment or played one game. The game is bad even for 12 years' old boy! He is now playing CoD and Siege Rainbow -or whatever its name is-! I was left alone with this horrible game, and I tried my best to enjoy it, but I could not!

This game is excellent. Why? Despite all it's bugs issues and non-existent skill gap we all still play it daily and make content daily. Yes it pays the bills but who will continuously put themselves through something like this that is being described just for average pay. For me I would just find another job. I'm in div 3 and really can't make it to div 2. Sometimes I feel invincible like I can be beat anyone and sometimes even the most average person beats me. Sometimes I just accept I'm not good enough. The passing is unrewarding and the fact that the slowest defender can mis- tackle you go the other way and still catch up is beyond me. But it depicts football in the sense that it's uncertain and no one thing will work every time. Bad players are getting good and good players missed their days of Total damnation. If everyone wants to win who's gonna be the losers? There has to be some losers so where are they? It's a game, we win some we lose some. Take it for what it is then you will see how much fun you can have.

People can find FC 25 more enjoyable than previous years, having more fun playing this year, than previous years, without the game actually being better. For me its about the same as last year. Perhaps slightly more enjoyable this year. Is it a better game? Probably not. If theres one thing EA absolutelly should patch right away, something that i think is totally broken, is how people can spam standing tackle, without there being a delay between the tackles. There should absolutelly be a penalty after missing a tackle. As of now, theres not really much delay. Not enough atleast. Where people can effetively do 120 tackles pr game, only hitting 20 of them and be insanely good defensively. Where its a nightmare trying to break through the defences. This would fix the game a lot, and make it way more enjoyable.

There’s just no excuse for how bad the game is. If you play clubs or drop ins then you will see just how poor the Ai is. They just stand there and get tackled or take 5 seconds to pass. 95 pace feels like 75. Lib pass goes on the floor. Whatever build I use in clubs, the ai is faster or stronger

The majority of people who have played the previous instillments of fifa or fc would all agree the games haven't been up to scratch and there's plenty of reasons why that's true. But for me the biggest problem is the community ea have created a divided fan base and this fan base is a big problem like i said majority of us know the games ain't up to scratch but the small minority who say it is are holding the game back. Jamboo has gone above and beyond for his community trying to help us all get better at the game and trying to help us enjoy it he answered multiple questions for me in his livestreams trying to aid us all as players its a shame that he has given more care and thought into helping the fan base then ea but ea won't help the fanbase instead they are happy with the divide as they know for the majority this is the only football game and where else can we go they take advantage of the majority while pleasing the minority

I never said the game was good and that I was happy with it. There are still huge issues but I disagreed with the pace being so high. EA have been making huge mistakes, Star Wars battlefront should be a game that makes money as a no brainer but they messed it all up, it could still be alive now and making them money, they have lost most of their licenses for a lot of games...EA FC you could see it coming from the beginning of Ultimate team, video games in general are made for commercial reasons for the majority now and aren't made for gamers, the original devs who put their heart and soul into these games originally have all retired and thus it becomes just a money grab. The fact that since 2018 the best game has been God of War, Balders Gate 3 and Black Myth Wukong...3 games out of thousands shows this trajectory.
