I think the sensor is exactly the same, based on what I read on Reddit. The difference is in the approaches each company takes, feels like DJI is going for a more close-to-real-life image approach, while Insta360 relies more on AI. And I'd take DJI any day. It gives a cleaner image and can be integrated with other footage more easily. Thank you for making this video. I appreciate your honesty 👍

Yeah both companies have different product ideals, DJI caters for more professional users whereas Insta360 caters to casual users

Which one do you like more? I think that the colors of the OA5 are more natural compared to the AP2

Most monitors only show 8 bit color so there's no difference in 10 bit unless you color grade it. Once you start color grading the 10 bit quality is highly noticeable, specially when recovering shadows in log footage or grading sunsets. Showing a side-by-side comparison of ungraded footage is useless.

Yeah, it's very similar to 16-bit and 24-bit audio, and I don't think most people are anal about it unless you require to color grade your videos to an extent.

Will this work even not using a hdr monitor? Can you explain? I am an action 5 user but haven’t played with HLG.

It is clear Osmo Action 5 is better in term of video quality due to 10-bit color.

IRL streamers use the Webcam Mode and RTMP mode, are you able to confirm if Pure Video and Stabilization works normally in those two modes. There is literally NO information anywhere about this at this point. Nothing in manuals too
