The one on the right the second one I’m trying to send back.
This third broken apollo was actually bought by a successful producer I work with because he wanted my vocals on his tracks to be finished as quickly as possible, he offered to buy it as soon as I told him mine had broken but I said I didn’t want him to buy one because I felt guilty him spending money but as we had been waiting for 2 weeks already for a fully working device from yourselves….I said ok we need one as I also have other big projects that are going to be lost thanks to this that I need to pay for treatment.
This is extra frustrating as I have a fluctuating disease that is affected by stress and this situation is causing so much stress and extra skin problems and taking away what little time I have to spend on creating.
Can you please make sure that the next apollo that is sent does not have problems that make it unfit for purpose if you won't refund?

They didn't. The seller had to go against their orders and just give a refund as they could see their products are crap and I shouldn't have to deal with them anymore

I have one that’s doing the same as far as the turning on but won’t connect at all… I had it for a week and when I went to use it again after shutting it off, it wouldn’t connect. If anyone knows how to fix pls let us know

This is my third faulty product in a year I sent this video to them and they literally said "have you tried another power supply?" When I literally say in the video it's both power supplies don't work with it yet they work with my other!!!! It's unbelievable!! They also said " Have you tried a different room? ". When it says in the video that one works and the other doesn't so it's clearly their product!!!! I didn't bother replying. And just got the company that sold it to give a refund in the end. Send it back man, if you get working... it'll only break again. They're a company that only cares about the money. Their software keeps crashing as well and tons of people have to keep reinstalling.

@@JamesBellx Having the same issue here. Worked for like 4 days and randomly stopped working. Changed Thunderbolt cords, computers, uniinstall reinstall, nothing!! I am going to try them tomorrow. Unfortunately i bought it off Reverb and probably lost a lot of money now. This is extremely frustrating they have terrible QC. Been an HDX user for years and just tried this for my home set up. Bad idea!!

@loudboymusic8018 post a video on it so others will see. They can't get away with treating people like this. Sensing out faulty products for nearly and not caring. If you paid with paypal, you can tell them the product is faulty and give evidence and show them this video and your attempts to return it, and they'll give your money back. They wouldn’t give a refund instead I had to get the shop to give one against UAD's orders that were saying just to send it back for another to be sent which I obviously didn’t want after THREE failed products from them and their software keeps crashing as well!

@@JamesBellx Yes I will 100% if they cant fix this today! Already posted and tagged them on social media. Reverb refunds if it arrived in condition different from advertised. I am a bit worried since it worked for 4 days. Lets see! Thanks James and I totally feel your pain. This is frustrating @universalaudio

After I bought my twin x I left it unused for months because of thunderbolt issue on my windows after upgrading my pc with latest thunderbolt 4 motherboard I was so excited to finally use my uad device but unfortunately I was sold a faulty piece I tried reaching out to uad

Ive been dealing with the same problem for months now.. and cant figure out whats the problem.. was about to go buy another cable but i believe its gonna be useless.. So am not the only person experiencing the very same issue.. seems ders lots of people.. Cant be a coincidence, is it faulty ports? Or it comes from uad itself, like how are so many people having the same issue.. It connects and then disconnects on its own.. sometimes it works fine for some time and just disconnects whenever it wants.. This is so damn frustrating and being giving me anxiety..

was having similar issues with my apollo twin x and been trouble shooting it for a month. First one wouldn't even connect and I thought I twas a windows compatible so returned it and got one for mac. unsure if theres even a difference. second one connect but after using plugins in fl it started to crash and eventually freezing my daw and then restarting my entire system on mac. now I have that same whistling sound coming from the actual apollo - returning it today. May try a new one one more time or opt for a different company.

Loads of people having troubke with them. I'd just go with a different company. I had to just return to my 10 year old focusrite that works perfectly still. Even their UAD software destroys my computer. Wish I'd never heard of them.

The anxiety must be excruciating and the waiting seem interminable. Sorry it's making you more ill, James. Hope this can be sorted PDQ.

Yh I lost a month of my life so far with their broken hardware and intermittent plugins and still waiting for a fix. And the fact it's having to be dealt with during the rare amount of time I can concentrate is so beyond frustrating.

My one is broken too. It worked for a couple of months with a sphere mic but gives low signal and loud interference with guitar 😢 I hope you get a refund. That's what I want too and a working interface. Best of luck 🍀

@@labenji5x yes its crazy and if I contact them they barely understand English and keep suggesting the fixes I already told them I tried. And what’s worse is I wait days to get the same suggestion. Hope you get the seller to take it back.

Not the fault of UAD, but frustrating is an understatement. The second to last one, got stuck due to a payment error, that get's sorted and it arrives, it's the WRONG one !.

Are they always on the metal stand? Something in my head says metal stand, ground fault = bad electrical flow. Are you using a grounded power jack? and is it at 50hz power or north american 60hz? Are you using a north american power adapter or a british one? Maybe it is sharing your laptop its the extra power its getting charged up on the short?

Yeah I back this theory, if you're having issues like this consistently almost certainly you have a power issue.

Got jipped on one of these fuckers too. None of the lights turn on but my computer can read that its plugged in and nothing happens. Seems to be windows incompatibility thing. Research is key :-(

I just go on the support page and wait ages for a response. I was waiting six weeks to finally accepted the second twin was faulty. And the third one that they responded to this video was so unbelievably dumb as they suggested trying a different plug!!! When i show in the very video they responded to that ive tried multiple plugs. Just try and get a refund from the people you bought it off if you can and buy a different inferface from a different company because UAD dont care about ripping people off

the company that sold it actually agreed that UAD were being ridiculous, slow and unfair so they provided the refund after I returned it. UAD actually got back a week later unaware and suggested I try another cable!!!!!! When it literally says in the video that I have!! They're terrible! And I don't think understand English.

its a normal thing for power supply to make high pitched noise i can confirm be google search my dab radio power supply make similar noise and works perfectly

Maybe in the 1900s yes but not 2023. And i say in the video that none of my others make that noise. If you're ok with noises on your recordings I guess it won't bother you.
