I have a micro soldering station and microscope, what I don’t have is a hot plate. Do you think you could successfully mount and de mount the components using hot air?

How do you remove the face id chip? You normal use some gel right ? And put it back with another gel or? I have problems with my face id, and like to replace the chip to a new one.

Hi Thank you for these great videos, I have a different problem on iphone X, face id show move iphone little higher/lower and just stuck there, if I check message iphone x emoji it works and would react with same face movement, also front camera in portrait works, is this an issue with dot projector or just corrosion and this method on this video will fix it? Would appreciate any hint on this please. Keep up the great work and thank you for helping so many of us out there

Man, even doing this, the boot loop keeps... i saw some corresion on the proximity sensor, i changed the flex (transplanting ambilight sensor and proximity, but when this flex is conected the bootloops keep, i even replace the proximity sensor and the Iphone turns on but without face ID working. Can i do something more ?

how are you removing the components from the face id without any hot air or soldering iron? is that some kind of heat plate?
