I’ve been working multiple jobs for a year trying to pay all my bills and save up for my wife to go to college. I havnt had a real weekend for months, this weekend my wife and I got to go camping. My first real break from work in a long time. It’s currently thunder storming and mist has engulfed our campsite. Pray God keeps our tent dry. God bless you all. (For some added backstory: we got married last year at 20. My wife also works full time, we have combined finances. We both have already done 2 years of school, I am working using that degree and have a job on the side. She is going back to school to pursue accounting, I am working as much as possible to move up in my current job and pay for everything else so we can save up.)

My travels have been quite arduous as of late. My liege has been insisting upon our band to press forth and through the steep and craggy mountains. He has declared unto us that many great riches and jewels await us on the other side; ripe for the taking. I have many queries and doubts, however. The dense fog that rolls over those rock covered peaks bestows a great sense of apprehension and dread upon my soul. The other soldiers are blinded by dreams of wealth and grandeur, but this all seems too good to be true. I doth not know if we shall survive this final leg of our adventure. It has been many years since I have last seen home and I long for it more with each passing day. I’ve been through so much these 3 years. From burnout, depression from work that made me resign from my well earned job, started again from the bottom with my wife and 2 little kids by selling clothes online (failed), got into legal problem caused by my old company that almost made me in prison (and made me thru the depression again), got surgery from tumor in my head, got several jobs but then I resigned again because my depression strike back, and now here I am after stuggling with everything I found God again. And it make me more controlled, I got new job, more stable life, do workout everyday, I can kiss my kids’ forehead everyday. May you guys got thru what you’ve into now, fellow traveller. Why does this gets recommend to me at very perfect timing. I never believed in depression and i never wanted to, because i believed that depression is such a 'weak thing', but these days I'm feeling down lately and I've got non to turn to. I'm weak like never before, both mentally and physically . I know i cause all these to myself but I'm so helpless and I don't know how i could do any better. As much as i hate to say it, I'll finally say, It's 3 a.m and I'm scared and depressed. I'm depressed and weak.

Our relationship was five years old, but out of five years, it was two years of me fighting and trying to fix this and become better for her. Yet she decided that she want to start something new with someone else, and I just did let her go. But I also realized that she was just using me, so I'm slowly finding my peace after all she did to me.

Looking at sprites like this makes me wish I could make a medieval/fantasy RPG game. I don't know if it's mostly because the 90's was my childhood, but I always have a stong love for sprite games. Especially the RPG style. People should make more of those games. Shovel Knight was a great example of a modern game with the classic sprite look and feel.
