This one is really sad. I was very young watching the show when it first aired. It's hard to comprehend just how much time has gone by, until you hear this kind of news. He never changed in my mind.

Paul's bicycle was a 1953 Schwinn Spitfire DX that was customized. Supposedly, 15 were made for the film. Paul kept 2 for himself. 8 supposedly were trashed after the film so 5 have ended up in collections - 1 in volo auto museum (IL), 1 in Max factor museum (LA), 1 in Pittsburgh’s Bicycle Heaven museum (PA), 1 at the Bicycle Museum of America in New Bremen, Ohio. I believe the other was auctioned to a private collector. GIV keep up the good quality you provide. Others who just want to throw up garbage vlogs will eventually fade away........

Pee Wee’s playhouse blew my mind. I was watching with my oldest son and there were constantly jokes for adults kids were not picking up on.i couldn’t believe what I was seeing. It was funny. I probably repeated myself on this but I smile thinking about it.

Hey Mike… Just wanted to let you know that the red item on the front wheel of Pee Week’s bike next to the light is a siren. Back in the early 1960’s many kids had them on their bikes. They made a sound like an old-school police siren when you engaged them up against the rotating front wheel of the bike. My kid brother had one and all the neighbors HATED it! Anyway…. You don’t know. Now you know. 😊 Thanks so much for the 2 Pee Wee videos. I was a big fan and you handled the good and bad of his career with great care. My wife and I never miss any of your videos. Keep up the great work!

Well if you ask me, your videos are wonderful. Plus, German quality is always the best. I remember about 15 years ago, I was telling a friend of mine in Germany about Pee Wee Herman and sent him a picture. He said that Pee Wee Herman reminded him of somebody who jokes around a lot. For Christmas in either 1988 or 1989, my grandmother bought my brother a talking Pee Wee Herman doll. We absolutely loved it. We played with it so much that his talking voice became lower. Every Saturday morning, my brother and I would watch Pee Wee's playhouse on either channel 5 or 6. My favorite thing about the show was at the end when he would travel the United States on his bike. In 1989, I was in the car with my parents on my way to Kindergarten, and Big Top Pee Wee was showing at the Brauntex theater. We watched Pee Wee's playhouse every Saturday morning from 1988 to 1991 when on morning, some entirely different show came on TV. My brother and I were shocked and asked our mother "What happened to Pee Wee's playhouse"? Our mother said "He got caught doing something illegal". We were too young to know what actually happened. I didn't find out until I was 16 years old while watching "E! True Hollywood Story". Oh, and BTW, I don't know if the Alamo has a basement. I'll have to go there when the weather cools down. Does anybody know where "Pee Wee's Big Adventure" was filmed? My mother recorded it for us on VHS back in the 80's from Showtime. I like the piano music at the very beginning.
