This is the most fun build I've ever used! The only change I made is using spark of amplitude instead of spark of focus having extra orbs for healing is nice for higher tier content 🤙 great build tho bro!!

Question, because this has come up before; Flow State. What makes Flow State necessary at all here, considering refreshing the amplified buff can already happen on the Ascension cooldown alone, not counting any outside affecting effect (artifact perks, fragments, etc). The majority of the pull to base arc here I will say is the Spark of Beacons, as that's helpful for higher tier content, but this could probably fit a little better on prismatic, considering the primary pull here is Ascension and Spark of Resistance (which we have on prismatic). This also would help the build remain useful after this artifact's bonuses expire soon, but give a bit more variety to gameplay; as per the melee and grenade issues where "I just threw it on because". Good build, I think this fits prismatic a bit better though.

I've actually been running a similar build of this but without Utility Kickstart, and instead Spark of Focus, I've been running Spark of Amplitude because of the insane orb generation on this build with Arc and Kinetic weapons alone while amplified, in fact, even after casting my super, with the amount of orbs I've been generating with this build, my super is back really fast. For heavy weapon, I've gone for a Crux Termination with Reconstruction and Explosive Light and the damage is insane.

Just tried this build and despite not having an aggressive arc conductor ergo (I ran stormbringer with the recommended perks) and it worked just fine since I too, have deleted several arc conductor ergos so stormbringer had to do. You loose out on the 5 sec jolting of ads but you gain ridiculous power with the lightning strikes. I am also curious if the utility kickstart is actually helping since ascension is not class ability mod friendly, I will test further after I get some rest lol. Despite the "meta", this build works great with the arc subclass as flow state and spark of recharge really get the class ability back very quick and for me, that was with only one utility kickstart. I want to try it with the arc conductor version and compare it to stormbringer. I also prefer gathering storm alot more that the new super due to it's ability to be utilized at any distance, but I am going to do a prismatic version to compare as well. Good stuff overall!

I think utility kickstart is basically meaningless. At worst, at 50 mobility it takes a maximum of 7 seconds to get the class ability back. Yeah, I’ve checked. Add to that you will most likely get an orb and an iconic trace and you’re down at about 5 seconds. Start running, even shorter. And I have a feeling that bolstering detonation procs from the grenades that is dropped from the exotic chest piece. I cant confirm it but if you ascend and get a few kills with the grenades (and not the ascension) the class ability seems to jump up 20-30%. Also try the wave frame, it also works great. The Heavy attack sends you up in the air a bit and you can ascend mid air!!!

Great build. After the season is over, it might be best to move to a special finisher setup so that way you can maintain ergo ammo without the artifact mod.

Ive tried lots of builds with my hunter this season and so far this is the only one that I really like. I can actually stay alive through a whole strike lol and i'm now getting more kills then the people i'm running with. I don't have 100 discipline but I do have 80 something mobility to get my class ability back faster and 100 res to.

Does the slam do more damage than a caster? I have both and really like the caster for the range attack...the slam didn't seem to do much damage when I tried it, but maybe I'll give it another try.

EDIT: I forgot to mention, Utility Kickstart is completely meaningless on this build, despite what Rest mentions. You get your class energy back fast enough to spam Ascension without it. You don't even have to take my word for it, just pay attention to this video, watch for when he doesn't have Armor Charge active and he still get the class energy back in less than 10 seconds. Run Font of Restoration or Argent Blade. Gifted Conviction has been my second most used build since I got the Exotic. And, I have always found running it on Arc to be better than Prismatic. What I haven't touched is my Arc Conductor Ergo Sum because I've only gotten 5 Aggressive Frame rolls and everyone was saying Wave Frame is the only worthwhile frame. SO, I'm definitely going to be giving this set up a try now and I'm very much looking forward to it :D

If they brought back loadout swapping i'd be doing this for add clear, but cz u loose everything when you swap loadout it just ruins the pace when a tormentor or non-overload champ or miniboss appears

Im about 99% sure arc scavenger does not affect the ergo sum, i tried to test it a bunch a few weeks ago and just kept getting 7 ammo from normal green bricks

I dont see the benefit of running it on arc instead of prismatic. Your class ability regen? Facet of hope gives you exactly same benefit plus with prismatic you can use transcendence to get even more damage and dzmage résistance. You also just do more damage in general thru having radiant. You can also stack even lire damage resistance by using facet of proctection for oversheilds or wolven mail. It seems the only thing arc has is the abilitiy to blind enemies which is kinda pointless when you have near 90% damage résistance plus and healing plus the ability to just be invisible the whole tile with sytlish. You guys do you but i just cant see a single benefit arc has worth giving up all prismatic can do.

@@BB-xn1rw if your not using ergo sum any arc weapon that jolts, I was using indebted kindness before I got a caster frame arc conducter ergo sum. The aggressive frame does look useful though à down side is the agressive frame gas no range. The caster frame has more versatility. Gonna give the agressive frame à try though.

@@loreseeker6604 I have done my own A/B testing, and Facet of Hope PALES in comparison to Flow State. The only thing Prismatic has over Arc is GPG, which is a pretty good argument, but I don't find myself needing it.

@@failfurby flow state does regen faster indeed, but pales? Not really difference is 5 seconds from my testing with mods that difference disappears so not really sure how thats much of a selling point. you can achève effect as flow state thru adding one mod, then you have the benefit plus the extras prismatic offers so yeah....only thing arc has is blind, which is good dont get me wrong just dont think its better than transcendence, 25% more damage, extra DR from protection when transcendent, invisibility etc.
