This is a great 4CV video. It is the first I have seen that shows the start ? that the driver uses to start the engine. I have deliberately not identified it, in the hope others will go looking and be surprised. I like that you have not put a V8 in it or upgraded the electrical system. You even had that heater hose - to my experience the heater was mediocre at best. Not a fast car, but spry around the bends. With a running start, it got up most hills. And there is the reason some upgrade electrics, brakes and other bits - which I do not like.. You might be amused that we broke a stub-axle crossing the railway tracks. Our solution was to place much lead in the real opposite side corner beside the engine, and drove it home on three wheels. Suspension must be good too because we were driving a long trip in convoy. Driving through new road construction, viewed rom the trailing car, the 4CV totally sunk from view. It had dropped into a huge hole, but in a moment was seen launching up out the other side, and continuing on none the worse. And it dropped a valve seat 250 miles from home, but made it home anyway. Finally your view enables me to show others the wet-sleeve design of the engine. I miss that car, although would I like it to drive in intense modern traffic? Not really, for that it needs upgrades.
