Ingredients:
500g chicken, cut into pieces
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 large onion, finely chopped
1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
2 large tomatoes, pureed
1/2 cup plain yogurt
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp red chili powder (adjust to taste)
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp coriander powder
Salt to taste
1/2 cup fresh cream
Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions:
1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
2. Add ginger-garlic paste and cook until the raw smell disappears.
3. Stir in tomato puree and cook for 5-7 minutes until oil separates.
4. Add yogurt, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, and salt. 5. Mix well and cook for another 5 minutes.
6. Add chicken pieces and coat well with the masala. Cover and cook on medium-low heat for 15-20 minutes or until chicken is tender.
7. Stir in fresh cream and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
8. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with naan or rice.
