Restaurant Style Easy Chilli Chicken Recipe With Gravy. Chilli Chicken is a popular Indo-Chinese food making with boneless or with bone chicken.
Ingredients for Marination:
Chicken - 750 gm
Ginger paste
Garlic Paste
Lemon Juice
Salt
Black Pepper Powder
Red Chilli Powder
Ingredients of Gravy Chilli Chicken:
Capsicum - one and half piece of big size cut into cube shape
Onion - 3 pieces of medium size
Slitted Green Chilli - 8 to 10 pieces
Chopped garlic
Spring Onion - 1/2 cup
Red Chilli Powder
Egg
Black Pepper Powder
Corn Flour
Vinegar
Black Soya Sauce
Red Chilli Flakes
Tomato Ketchup
Red Chilli Sauce
Salt
Sugar
Refined Oil
Methods of how to make Gravy Chili Chicken:
1. First I will marinate the chicken.
2. Add 3/4 of 1 big size lime juice (1 whole if small lime),2 tsp garlic paste, 1 tsp ginger paste, 1 tsp red chilli powder, 1/2 tsp black pepper powder,1/4 tsp salt.Mix well and leave it for minimum 1 hour or more in fridge.
3. Add 6 tbsp. corn flour, crack an egg and mix well. Then leave it for 5 mins.
4. Now heat up oil and fry the chicken pieces one by one.
5. Fry them till golden brown and take them out.
6. Fry all the chicken.
7. After frying keep 4 tbsp. oil in the kadai.
8. Add 1 tsp chopped garlic, 3 medium size onion petals. Fry them on medium flame.
9. Then add 1 tsp red chilli powder, 1/2 tsp salt, 1 tsp sugar,1 cup tomato ketchup, 1 tbsp. red chilli sauce,2 tbsp. soy sauce, 2 tsp chilli flakes and mix well.
10. Add chopped capsicum then stir and cook for 1 minute. After 1 minute add 2 cups water.
11. When the gravy starts boiling add the fried chicken pieces.
12. Then cover and cook for 5 mins on medium flame.
13. After 5 mins turn the flame to high and add 1 tsp black pepper powder, 1 tbsp. vinegar, 2 tbsp. corn flour mixed with water. Now stir continuously and cook.
14. Add the sliced green chillies.
15. Now add spring onion and cook for 1 minute on high flame.
16. Then turn off your oven, our chilli chicken is ready.
