Don’t forget you can pre-cast lava burst and then immediately cast flame shock. The FS will land before the LB so you will get the crit from LB.

And if you want to be extra accurate, Lava Burst is usually shortened as LvB while Lightning Bolt is written as LB! =)

For anyone who doesn’t want to make mouseover macros, a simple alternative is ElveUI + Clique. Enables healing by right or left-clicking or (shift-clicking or however you want to set it up) on party members’ unit frames.

Great vid as always! Also. the Innkeeper sells Ethereal Pomegranate that restore same health/mana as Candied Amberjack Cakes for about 1/3rd of the price. (Granted its like only 10 gold difference lol)

well he does, but the food he uses is bufffood, thats mostly the reason. For regular regen during pulls you can use any regular food or magefood.

tbh, i am surprised that torrent isn't BiS, just because of the necrolord / legendary resto shams use, as well as echo of elements and the fact that riptide is cast practically on cooldown and is the top heal for shamans. not only that but shaman mastery makes it scale. all of those combined made me think that torrent would be almost mandatory for progression. it also fills the niche of non stacking fights where shamans drop off. and if you played a single target healing build torrent actually does pretty well too.

Regarding the trinket Unbound Changeling, I think there was a hotfix recently. The stat buff now changes every single time you eat, there is no cooldown anymore.

with 1800 rating, which isnt too hard you can get it in 2s, you can get your pvp gear (including bis trinkets) up to 220ilvl

For the first row, what talent should I pick now that it's grievous week? torrent? or which? I want to push 15s this week, so far I have 13s and 14s. Thanks for the tip definitely getting static charge for the cdr albeit Graceful Spirit has to be my favorite for it has saved my group a lot for moving fights hahaha.

i dont understand why healing surge is prioritized, shouldnt it only be used when damage is spikey and you need a quick heal? otherwise healing wave is wayyy more efficient

Holy Priest does just not really bring any damage compared to other healers, but the healing part is fine

Not directly. However, if you use the unleash life buff while cloudburst is down, then do a direct heal, that will heal more which will subsequently increase the cloudburst heal at the end.

If i need to aoe heal, dont use chain lighyning lego, i have riotide and promordial on cd, unleash life on cd cloudburst active. Do i heal with chain heal or spam healin burst on everyone? I felt like chain is so weak.

why dont you think its fun? Been playing shaman forever and i think its really fun. you have loads of tools that you can use to support the group. Surge spam is a bit annoying but ifs efficient.

@@DaniSupreme I think the part I clearly don't understand as a new mythic+ player is how when I play pugs, my whole group takes intense amounts of damage which I cannot heal or mitigate - but on youtube I see these guys pumping out dps while the group somehow either doesn't take damage or heals themselves? Is there something fundamental that I'm missing as a resto shaman or is the key to have really good teammates that makes life easy?

@@alwynkotze9891 teammates and comp make a huge difference. If people Dodge most Things and use their defense CDs its much easier and stuff. With a good premade group i can run 12 and upward. With pugs a 10 even can be a Problem.
