Beautiful! Great work! It's awesome to watch people bring back to life the older vintage stuff. It shows there is still beauty in those items, and are once again able to be used. It's less waste of good items, and thrift stores are full of things that could use a restoration.

I did not think this bench could be saved. Good job--and cat approved. That is a great idea with sawdust and glue for knotholes or cracks! 👍🏻 👏

I was very glad to see you using wooden dowels to reinforce joins and attach other parts rather than using nasty nails which would corrode. Another charming bench rescued from oblivion. Many congratulations.

This is very good but you have to insert a piece of wood on each side when you use clamps! Bu çok iyi ama kelepçeleri kullanırken her iki tarafa da bir parça tahta yerleştirmeniz gerekiyor!

This is more a rejuvenation than a restoration. The difference from just washing the wood was encouraging.

Back in the 1940's, we lived in an old house in the city that had no electric or gas but, we had a coal/wood stove. There was no place to store coal so, my father who was a trucker would bring home old pallets and lumber he found to cut up and burn in the stove. My brother and I had to pull out the nails. We would use a hammer to straighten them and reuse them. Did you do this with the nails you pulled from the bench?

In the past, I used to take nails out of the boards, fix them and reuse them :) I reused small nails here. I collect big nails :)

Absolutely incredible. You took something that someone would throw on a fire pit and turned it into something where it looks like you just made it from new wood. It came out beautiful, my friend. Plus you got your supervisors approval at the end. I hope you are well. ~Kevin
