There's no need to worry about damage since the old phone battery has the same voltage as the original one: 3.7 V.

Those DS4 are like really cheap nasty Wish toys, no quality at all, the triggers were really poor mainly the springs wearing out after 6 months, and the rubber peeling off very early on off the sticks, hence why you would see a lot of places selling those covers to pop on top of the sticks, and the batteries were really bad with dodgy aftermarket Chinese ones which were mainly a fire hazard as an upgrade, to be frank they have nothing on a Xbox controller, all made in Foxconn on the cheap and compared to DualShock 1 and 2 it's like night and day. Luckily the DualSense has done most of the improvements needed compared to this.

i've had my ds4 for about 8-9 years now, and the only problem i have is minor stick drift on both sticks. the worse of the two is the left, which is usually less important (and can be taken care of with deadzone settings on most games). most problems with any first-party controller come from abuse or neglect, and the majority of people won't admit when they're guilty of it

Oye si el controlador tiene el logo de Sony algo chueco puede ser que sea falso y también si la luz azul que se nota al prender el controlador tiene algunos daños poco comunes puede ser que sea un controlador falso y si aprietas los gatillos con la menor fuerza posible y se va mucho para abajo puede ser que sea falso

I need someone to fix my Xbox one x 🤦, it's been running slow as ever it was perfectly fine till my rdr2 crashed now it's been taking 30 min to delete games and it freezes everytime U press a button , it won't load games a dnt get it all just because a game crashed that one time 🤦

Yes, exactly, I’m not an expert at determining the authenticity of a PS4 controller but this one can’t be official after I opened the controller, I saw some fake parts! The battery is not even close to the original one. And it's an old cell phone battery.
