Es su gusto, pero la curvatura al final del mango debe ser más pronunciada ( No eliminada ) para que sea más difícil que se escape de la mano.

That handle is very blocky. I’d thin it out by half, makes your finger grooves larger, so they meet and you have a better grip. Thats my 2 cents. Good restoration otherwise.

⁠No worries mate. I have a machete just like yours. I’ve had it for over 20 years. The handle on mine was horrible too, really fat and blocky. I’ve thinned it out a lot, put a finger choil on the blade and a mirror edge. It’s way sharper than it needs to be but I like my knives sharp. I wish I could share a photo of it. It lives beside my bed.😉

Looks to me a DAK machete. I would have done some research before a restoration of such a machete.. Original and " untouched " DAK material is Very scarce and expansive .
