I just also found a 9" Craftsman 1/2" thick and heavy Wright Tool 5/8" punch rusted. Wire wheel and clear coat spray. Good video. 👍👍

nice, I going to try clear coat spray, I never thought of it, sometimes you get used to doing things one way.

@@djstoolrestorations Rust is enemy #1. ScoutCrafter uses Zinsser Bulls Eye Shellac, Clear (clear but slight darkens) which I also have done. I think new Channellock pliers are dipped in this also. They have a slight yellow coating on them.

The pin you referenced, to me looks like the hydraulic press bed lock pin used the pin the bed and allows you to raise and lower the bed to accommodate different lengths of material in the press.

Another good one buddy. Wish I could find small hordes like that to pick up on the cheap, but everyone thinks their stuff is made of unobtainium in California.

Yea I understand, here in Oklahoma I can see prices of used items creeping up, but tools make me money or save me money, so I have to have them, even if I buy one and use it once it usually, pay for itself.

Nice job... You might consider trying an angle grinder for the mushroom heads. They are cheap and would save time and you grinder belt...

@@bkind2182 I did on the bigger ones, but the belt sander was close and I was a little lazy.

Rust-oleum is what I used on the chisels, Rust-oleum paint where I live is popular, I live in a small town so there is not much to choose from, also Ace brand spray paint.

I used a gloss.

Maybe some tool catalogs would be helpful with identifying, and what they are used for.
